摘要： A keypad module manufacturing method for reducing production time and enhancing yield is described. A lower substrate, with button holes and positioning holes, is manufactured. A rubber layer is formed upon the lower substrate. An upper substrate, with buttons and a cut-away portion, is manufactured. The upper substrate is attached to the rubber layer on the lower substrate. The cut-away portion is removed from the upper substrate by laser so as to form a keypad module.

摘要： A mobile phone with a complete English keyboard is described. The mobile phone has a front module, a pivot and a rear module. The pivot couples the front module to the rear module. The front module further has a display, a numerical keyboard, an antenna and a battery. The rear module further has an extendable keyboard and an image sensor, e.g. a CCD sensor or a CMOS sensor. The complete English keyboard is composed of the numerical keyboard and the extendable keyboard. The extendable keyboard is revealed to input English and/or Chinese characters by rotating the front module and the rear module around the pivot.

摘要： A portable electronic device includes a main body including a housing, a display electrically connected to the main body, and a frame for connecting between the main body and the display. The display includes a display panel and a carrier for carrying the display panel. The portable electronic device is capable of being operated to switch between a closed state and an open state. When the portable electronic device is in the closed state, the display covers the main body with either one of the display panel or the carrier facing the housing of the main body, and the main body and the display are surrounded by the frame. When the portable electronic device is in the open state, the main body is straddled by the frame and is supported by the frame to define a first predetermined angle between the main body and the frame.

摘要： The present invention relates to a metal mobile phone case. The metal mobile phone case has an upper housing and a lower housing. Sliding-slots are on two sides of the upper housing. Sliding-blocks corresponding to the sliding-slots are on two sides of the lower housing. By inserting the sliding-blocks into the sliding-slots, the upper housing and the lower housing are assembled. The lower housing further has an antenna cavity and a battery cavity. By placing an antenna cover and a battery cover on the antenna cavity and the battery cavity respectively, the upper housing and the lower housing can further be secured.

Of which, the body is a mono-block casting with an opening section on the top, while the covering lid is coupled to the body via a first hinge such that the covering lid can be flipped to open from or flipped to close towards the body; the battery is installed inside the body and is loaded into or unloaded from the body via the opening section; the battery lid, which is installed on top of the opening section to hold the battery, is coupled to the body via a second hinge such the battery lid can also be flipped to open from or flipped to close towards the body. In practice, the battery lid can be a keypad module of the mobile phone, while the first and the second hinge can be situated at the same side either having respective axes or sharing the same axis. Moreover, the mobile phone can further include a circuit board which is installed between the battery and the body.
