摘要： A projector to which a ceiling suspension attachment is fixed. The projector accommodates an internal device. The projector is provided with an outer case including a bottom wall that defines an outer bottom surface and an inner bottom surface of the outer case. Insert nuts are arranged on the bottom wall. Each insert nut includes a threaded hole to which a first coupling screw is fastened and a second coupling screw can be fastened. The first coupling screw couples the attachment to the outer bottom surface of the bottom wall, and the second coupling screw is fastened to the threaded hole from a side opposite to the first coupling screw. The second coupling screw is fastened at least one of the insert nuts to couple the inner device to the inner bottom surface of the bottom wall.

摘要： A projector is provided with a lamp including an arc tube, which generates light, and a reflector. The reflector includes an inner surface that reflects light from the arc tube and an opposite outer surface. The arc tube and the inner surface define an inner portion of the lamp. At least the outer surface defines an outer portion of the lamp. A housing accommodates the lamp and includes an air inlet through which air is drawn in from outside the housing. An air mixing structure mixes a cooling current that has cooled the inner portion of the lamp with the air drawn into the housing through the air inlet. A cooling current guide structure guides the cooling current mixed with the air mixing structure to the outer portion of the lamp.

摘要： A video projector including a light source used to display an image, an optical component that differs from the light source, a power supply unit that supplies power, and a centrifugal fan including a rotation shaft and a blade that rotates about the rotation shaft. The centrifugal fan is a double intake fan that draws in gas from first and second axial directions, which are parallel to the rotation shaft, by rotating the blade and sends the gas outward in a radial direction from the rotation shaft. The centrifugal fan sends gas that has cooled the optical component and the power supply unit to the light source.

摘要： A projector apparatus equipped with a metal plate structure serving as a light shield against a light source and as a heat radiator is provided. The metal plate structure is arranged over the light source to hide the light source. The metal plate structure extends farther to a cooling fan and connects to the upper end of the air expiration face of the fan. The metal plate structure thus serves as the top plate of the baffle section of the exhaust duct of the fan for leading the air expired from the fan. The metal plate structure also serves as a shield plate, which can be connected to a grounded metal piece.

As a result, even when an amount of light per unit area of high luminance is increased, the liquid crystal panels and the polarizing plates and the PBS can be effectively cooled by three sets of the fans.

The image synthesizing device includes a prism, a prism mount for fixing the prism, LCPs, and LCP holders integral with the prism mounts for fixing the LCPs. The prism mount has a central area and multiple peripheral areas, each area in contact with the prism. The invention provides effective solution for solving reliability problems encountered in a cost reduction strategy for miniaturization of a prism and for using inexpensive plastic prism fixation members.
