摘要: A method for strengthening, toning, and firming muscle tissues, the method includes receiving parameters for operating a magnetic muscle stimulation device. The parameters include: a first waveform frequency; one or more pulse durations; a second waveform frequency that is non-zero; causing, a first alternating current having one or more first pulses to flow for a first length of time through a coil according to the first waveform frequency; causing, a second alternating current having one or more second pulses to flow through the coil for a second length of time according to the second waveform frequency lower than the first waveform frequency. The method includes repeating the causing of the first and second alternating currents for a plurality of iterations to provide a continuously pulsed time-varying magnetic field that alternates between the first and the second waveform frequencies to generate a treatment session.

摘要: Systems for treating a subject's tissue can include a thermally conductive cup, a tissue-receiving cavity, and a vacuum port. The vacuum port is in fluid communication with the tissue-receiving cavity to provide a vacuum for drawing the submental tissue, or other targeted tissue, into the tissue-receiving cavity. A thermal device can cool and/or heat the conductive cup such that the conductive cup non-invasively controls the temperature of subcutaneous lipid-rich cells in the tissue. A restraint apparatus can hold a the conductive cup in thermal contact with the target region.

摘要: Systems and methods can be implemented in which an electromagnetic charge is used to strengthen, tone, and firm muscle tissues. For example, the method may include receiving parameters for operation of a magnetic muscle stimulation device. The method may also include causing, based on the received parameters, a first alternating current having a first phase to flow through a first coil and generate a first time-varying magnetic field that induces a first electric charge in muscle tissue under a skin surface of a patient when the first applicator surface is positioned substantially on and parallel to the skin surface of the patient. The method may also include causing a second alternating current having a second phase to flow through a second coil in a similar manner. Optionally, a phase offset between the first and second phases may be adjusted to limit to a predetermined maximum electric charge.
