Abstract: A method and apparatus for configuration of sidelink channel resource units for sidelink communications in a wireless communication network is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first wireless communication device, comprising: performing sidelink communication on a first sidelink channel resource unit of a first sidelink channel, determining a second sidelink channel resource unit of a second sidelink channel according to the first sidelink channel in a sidelink channel couple; and performing sidelink communication on the second sidelink channel resource unit; wherein the sidelink channel couple comprises the first sidelink channel and the second sidelink channel, and wherein a first sidelink channel resource unit comprises a first number of first resource units in the time domain and a second number of second resource units in the frequency domain, and the second sidelink channel resource unit comprises a third number of first resource units in the time domain and a fourth number of second resource units in the frequency domain.

Abstract: A device discovery method, a user equipment and a network side device are disclosed, which relates to the field of wireless communication. The method disclosed in the embodiments of the present document includes: the user equipment acquiring device discovery configuration information, the device discovery configuration information at least including information used for indicating a time domain location of a device discovery radio resource; the user equipment determining a radio resource location for sending a D2D discovery signal according to the device discovery configuration information; and the user equipment sending the D2D discovery signal at the determined radio resource location; wherein, the device discovery radio resource indicated by the device discovery configuration information is a D2D dedicated resource, and has a specific configuration period in a time domain. The embodiments of the present document also disclose a user equipment and a network side device.

Abstract: Method, apparatus and system for D2D communication are provided. The method includes: a first user equipment receives configuration message(s) from a network, wherein the configuration information about D2D discovery signal(s) is carried in the configuration message(s); the first user equipment detects D2D discovery signal(s) from a second user equipment according to the configuration information carried in the configuration message(s); the first user equipment transmits a request message to the network according to the result of the detection to acquire the identity of the second user equipment transmitting the detected D2D discovery signal; and the first user equipment receives a response message returned from the network, wherein the identity of the second user equipment or rejection information indicating the rejection to the discovery of the second user equipment by the first user equipment is carried in the response message. The present disclosure addresses the problem of the peer discovery of D2D incorporated in a cellular communication system.

Through the present document, the problem that a transmitting UE for D2D communication is unable to indicate the used D2D data channel resource by using an eNB scheduling indication resource in the cellular communication is solved, and the indication of the D2D data channel resource is realized.
