Abstract: Provided are methods and devices for encoding and decoding using parameter sets, and electronic equipment. In the method for encoding, an encoder determines parameter sets and/or virtual parameter sets for a slice, wherein the virtual parameter set is a data structure which is generated by loading information acquired from a bitstream into a syntax structure of an existing parameter set and/or a preset syntax structure and includes tool parameters and/or control parameters; and the encoder writes identification number (ID) (s) of the parameter sets and/or virtual parameter sets into a bitstream. Using the method, encoding and decoding efficiency is improved.

Abstract: An image coding method and apparatus and an image decoding method and apparatus are provided by the present invention. The image coding method includes: implementing matching coding for pixels of an input video image to obtain one or more matching relationship parameters, herein the matching relationship parameters are parameters used in a process of constructing predicted values and/or reconstructed values of the pixels in the image; mapping the matching relationship parameters to obtain mapped values of the matching relationship parameters; and performing entropy coding on the mapped values of the matching relationship parameters. The present invention addresses the problem existing in the conventional art which is caused by the direct implementation of entropy coding for matching relationship parameters and achieves a good data compression effect through entropy coding.

Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for decoding a Picture Order Count (POC), and a method and a device for coding a POC, and electronic equipment. The method for decoding the POC includes that: parameters for Most Significant Bit (MSB) and Least Significant Bit (LSB) used in an alignment operation on the POC are acquired; an MSB value and an LSB value of a POC value of a current picture are determined according to the parameters for MSB and LSB; and the POC value of the current picture is calculated according to the MSB value and the LSB value. By means of the technical solution, the problems in the related art that the accuracy in decoding and outputting a multilayer video bitstream cannot be ensured and an extra overhead of network resources is increased in multilayer video coding and decoding processes are solved.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for coding and decoding at picture layer and slice layer, and corresponding coder and decoder. Through the present invention, a desirable tradeoff can be achieved between coding efficiency and error resilience performance.

Abstract: Provided are a method and device for decoding and encoding supplemental auxiliary information of a three-dimensional video sequence. The method includes: obtaining supplemental auxiliary information for constructing a stereo-pair from a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, the supplemental auxiliary information being used for indicating that the stereo-pair is constructed from a reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence, and the reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence being obtained by decoding the three-dimensional video sequence bitstream. The present invention solves the technical problem in the prior art that degraded displaying quality of a constructed stereo-pair appears because of the lack of supplemental auxiliary information in a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, and achieves the technical effect of improving the display quality of a constructed stereoscopic video.
