Generating each of the one or more bitstreams includes partitioning each of the one or more tiles into one or more slices, and performing, for each slice among the one or more slices a first encoding step to encode a tile identifier in a header of the slice, and a second encoding step to encode, in the header of the slice, a second address of the slice that indicates a location of the slice in the tile.

In an aspect, a method for video coding includes selecting a first set of reference samples that are reconstructed neighboring samples of a current block, and determining a prediction value for a prediction sample of the current block by interpolating at least one of the first set and a second set of reference samples, where a reference sample of the second set of reference samples is based on a weighted sum of a first sample and a second sample from the first set of reference samples, and where the reference sample is aligned horizontally with the first sample, aligned vertically with the second sample, and positioned on an opposite side of the prediction sample with respect to either the first or the second sample.

    摘要: An image coding method and apparatus and an image decoding method and apparatus are provided by the present document. The image coding method includes: implementing matching coding for pixels of an input video image to obtain one or more matching relationship parameters, herein the matching relationship parameters are parameters used in a process of constructing predicted values and/or reconstructed values of the pixels in the image; mapping the matching relationship parameters to obtain mapped values of the matching relationship parameters; and performing entropy coding on the mapped values of the matching relationship parameters. The present document addresses the problem existing in the conventional art which is caused by the direct implementation of entropy coding for matching relationship parameters and achieves a good data compression effect through entropy coding.

The encoding method includes: acquiring a video picture, and determining a picture feature of the video picture; determining in-loop identification information and out-loop identification information according to the picture feature; processing the video picture according to the in-loop identification information and the out-loop identification information; and encoding the processed video picture to generate a code stream, and writing the in-loop identification information and the out-loop identification information into the code stream. Therefore, the processing of a video picture is achieved both encoding and decoding out-loop and encoding and decoding in-loop according to the picture feature during a picture transmission process, thereby effectively improving the video encoding and decoding efficiency and improving the quality of a decoded picture at the same code rate.
