The data processing method includes: receiving a multicast packet requiring Service Function Chaining (SFC) processing; encapsulating the multicast packet to obtain a target packet after encapsulation, wherein the target packet comprises an SFC path indication and an egress device-based Bit Indexed Explicit Replication (BIER) header; and sending the target packet to at least one Service Function Forwarder (SFF) according to the SFC path indication, wherein a last-hop SFF is used for sending the multicast packet to at least one egress device according to the egress device-based BIER header, so that the target packet reaches the egress device.
