摘要: An extendable and retractable conveyor comprises a hopper for receiving agricultural product a housing having an inlet and an outlet that are separated by a fixed distance, the inlet being adjacent to the hopper for receiving the agricultural product from the hopper. The conveyor may include a belt conveyor disposed within the housing for conveying the agricultural product from the inlet to the outlet, the conveyor defining a direction of conveyance. The conveyor further includes a hood connected to the outlet for deflecting the agricultural product relative to the direction of conveyance. The conveyor further includes a movable spout that is slidably connected to the tube and disposed beneath the hood to receive the agricultural product from the hood, the movable spout being slidable in a direction parallel to the direction of conveyance to thereby extend or retract the conveyor.

摘要: A flow-through discharge assembly having a rotatable tube section and an opening through which product is discharged and a positioning apparatus for rotating the tube section between operation and non-operational conditions. When the tube is positioned in an operational orientation, grain exits through the opening for discharge from the assembly. When the tube is returned to a non-operational condition, the tube opening is blocked and grain is prevented from exiting through the opening. The tube opening may be a single elongated opening or may include multiple tube openings through which product is discharged. A method of using a rotary discharge assembly to control grain flow within a grain handling system is also disclosed.

The portable remote control device is also configured to wirelessly transmit a control signal to a gate controller of a material-unloading gate of a material container.

摘要: A drive system for a paddle belt conveyor comprises a drive shaft and a drive roller rotationally driven by the drive shaft about a first axis. The drive roller exerts traction on a belt of the belt conveyor. The belt comprises a plurality of paddles. The drive system includes a pinch roller mounted rotationally about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The pinch roller pinches the belt between the pinch roller and the drive roller to augment the traction of the drive roller on the belt. Either the drive roller or the pinch roller is a bobbin roller to accommodate the paddles on the belt. The drive system may further include a take-up roller rotatable about a third axis parallel to the first axis, and first and second idler rollers rotatable about fourth and fifth axes parallel to the first axis.

摘要: A novel collapsible aeration system is retrofitted into a grain bin with a discharge opening in the bottom. This grain bin may have a sloped or conical hopper or a flat bottom. The aeration system is formed from a set of connected (e.g. hinged) duct sections that define a round or multi-sided duct having a minimum of three sides or faces. The sides may be flat, curved or corrugated. The collapsible aeration system is folded (collapsed), inserted into the bin via a hole, and then unfolded inside the bin. An air duct is connected to the aeration system to enable the aeration system to dry the grain in the grain bin. This technology enables existing grain bins to be retrofitted with a dryer in an easy and efficient manner.
