摘要： A cooking apparatus in the form of a skillet with a complementary lid has a specially designed provision which accommodates a cooking utensil. The cooking utensil may be used to manipulate food being cooked while the skillet and lid remain coupled together thus preventing splattering of food residue about the cooking area. The skillet and lid, in combination form a cooking chamber. The chamber remains substantially enclosed throughout the cooking process. As the food being cooked needs attention, for example stirring or flipping, the utensil may be employed to effect such without disturbing the integrity of the cooking chamber. A lid of the apparatus may be formed of glass material to allow a chef a view into the chamber. In addition, a specialized coupling between a skillet rim and the lid provides improved reduction of mess.

摘要： A deck structure for use in supporting cargo at an intermediate level above the floor or bed of a trailer van, or the like. A first embodiment includes a first deck section pivotally mounted on a side wall of a trailer van and movable to a horizontal load position, and back up to a vertical stored position against the side wall where it is releasably held by a spring slam bolt engaged with a height saving angle locking rail. In the first embodiment a second section of the deck is pivotally connected to the first section and it is also movable between a horizontal load position and a vertical stored position against the side wall, and when it is in the vertical stored position it is hanging from the first section and is configured such that it nests closely in the first deck section to provide a slender storing intermediate deck structure. When the first and second deck sections are in a horizontal load position, the second section has an outer end which is selectively provided with either a spring biased, telescopically mounted load bracket, or a cap style load bracket, that is operatively seated on a load track rail on the trailer van wall opposite to the wall on which the first deck section is hinged. Two intermediate decks may be mounted in vertically spaced apart positions, at two different levels, above the floor of a trailer van.

摘要： A lacing assembly for a shoe, and particularly an athletic shoe, in which the side quarters include separate lower and upper vamp sections that are secured by a single lace extending therebetween. A clamp connects the lace at the lower vamp section, while the lace is secured separately at the upper vamp section, for selectively adjusting and maintaining the fit of each vamp section independently of the other vamp section. The clamp is carried by the lace between the lower and upper vamp sections. More particularly, the clamp is slidably mounted on the lace for selectively moving down or up on the lace upon adjusting the fit of the lower vamp section, the clamp selectively fixing the lace to maintain the desired adjusted fit of the lower vamp section.

摘要： A pallet truck that may be used for loading or unloading trucks and van trailers under circumstances where no shipping dock, well or ramp is available. These pallet truck forks are constructed and arranged to allow the insertion of the fork tines of a fork lift truck, whereby the pallet truck with a palleted load thereon may be lifted from ground level by the fork lift truck and placed on another level such as in a truck or van trailer, and conversely lowered. The fork truck fork tines are then removed and the pallet truck employed to move the palleted load into its proper position in the truck or van trailer. The pallet truck forks may be constructed for the reception of the fork tines of a fork lift truck from either the front ends thereof or the rear ends thereof. The pallet truck forks may be provided with fork tines for raising a load for the insertion of timbers and the like thereunder, to permit the subsequent insertion of the pallet truck forks under the load for raising and moving the same. This pallet truck design may also be utilized for all conventional pallet truck uses.

摘要： A clip for a retractable tape measure which is structured to seatably receive a writing instrument so that the writing instrument is always present to mark the spot whenever a measurement is made, and further so that the writing instrument is located relative to the case so that accurate arcs can be drawn with respect to a nail head centerpoint. The clip includes a clip body composed of a base member for being connected to the case of a retractable tape measure, a spring member integrally connected with the base member for resiliently yielding when an article is slipped between the base and spring members. The clip further includes a writing instrument holder adjacent with the base member for removably receiving a writing instrument. The preferred clip is constructed of stainless steel sheet stock, preferably a spring type stainless steel material, wherein the clip body and the writing instrument holder are integrally formed in a single piece. A point protector for received writing instruments may be optionally included.

The hinged support allows the user to quickly separate the two objects without having to use a tool.
