Abstract:
A cap apparatus includes a cap body and a valve body. The valve body includes an upper portion, a lower portion, and a stem intermediately disposed between the upper portion and the lower portion, the valve body including a bore formed therein having concentric alignment to and traversing the upper portion and the stem, and the valve body including a perforation formed therein having concentric alignment to and traversing the stem and the lower portion. The perforation forms a substantially impermeable seal within the valve body. The cap body includes an aperture in coaxial alignment with the bore and the perforation. The inner surface of the cap body includes multiple internal threads.
Abstract:
An inflation valve cap having a cap body, an ear depending from the cap body, and a valve body for inflating or pressurizing a beverage bottle. A locking washer may be provided to prevent the valve body from ejecting from the cap body.
Abstract:
A self-sealing valve comprises a valve housing having a fluid conduit, a valve seat, a diaphragm and an attachment member. The valve housing is configured to pass fluid through the fluid conduit. The diaphragm provides a seal of the fluid conduit. The attachment member is configured to attach portion of the diaphragm to the valve housing. The attachment member and diaphragm are configured to position the flexible diaphragm against the valve seat to seal the fluid conduit in a closed position of the self-sealing valve, and to facilitate pivotal movement of the diaphragm under a bias in a first direction away from the valve seat to an open position.
Abstract:
A tire air valve having the function of indicating tire pressure includes an air valve casing having an inner center post orderly installed thereon with a lower locking block, a first spring, an upper locking block and a second spring. A fixed member is secured on the upper locking block, and a cap is covered on the air valve casing and provided with an upper indicating member, a third spring, a lower indicating member and a locking ring. The upper indicating member has an outer wall formed into a low pressure region and a warning region, while the lower indicating member has an outer wall formed into a safety region. The upper and the lower locking block can completely seal up the air valve to prevent air from leaking, and a driver can judge whether tire pressure is normal by visual observation through the cap on the air valve casing.
Abstract:
A valve set includes a valve body which includes a central hole and multiple passages are located around the central hole. A tubular portion extends from the valve body a flexible plate has an insertion inserted into the central hole of the valve body and the flexible plate seals the passages from an underside of the valve body. A core member is securely engaged with the tubular portion has an inlet tube. Multiple releasing probes extend from an underside thereof. A spring is mounted to the inlet tube and biased between a shoulder on the inlet tube and an inner surface of the valve body. A bottom cap is connected to the underside of the valve body. Air is introduced into the valve set via the inlet tube and released by pushing the core member and the releasing probes push the flexible plate away from the passages.
Abstract:
A self-sealing valve comprises a valve housing having a fluid conduit, a valve seat, a diaphragm and a support member. The valve housing is configured to pass fluid through the fluid conduit. The diaphragm provides a self-seal of the fluid conduit. The support member is configured to retain a portion of a diaphragm. The support member and diaphragm are configured to position the flexible diaphragm against the valve seat to seal the fluid conduit in a closed position of the self-sealing valve, and to facilitate movement of the diaphragm under a bias in a first direction away from the valve seat to an open position.
Abstract:
A system, storage bag and method for evacuating air from a convention self-sealing storage bag. An air valve assembly includes inner and outer valve members, the inner valve member being positionable within the storage bag and having a tapered piercing spout adapted to pierce through a flexible panel. The outer valve member has a housing lockingly engagable over the piercing spout protruding outwardly through the panel. A perimeter edge of the housing is sealingly engagable against the bag panel and a mating groove formed into the inner valve member. The inner valve member is configured for temporary sealing engagement against the inner surface of the bag panel as air is removed from the interior of the storage bag out through the piercing spout and housing air outlets by a vacuum pump.
Abstract:
An inflatable device that includes a inflatable component and a base inflatable component. The inflatable component is releasably connected to the base inflatable component by a component connector. The component connector includes a base and a cap, wherein the cap releasably connected to the base.
Abstract:
A self-sealing valve comprises a valve housing having a fluid conduit, a valve seat, a flexible diaphragm and a support member. The valve housing is configured to pass fluid through the fluid conduit. The flexible diaphragm provides a self-seal of the fluid conduit, and comprises an area larger than an area of the fluid conduit and a periphery. The support member is configured to retain a portion of a flexible diaphragm. The support member and flexible diaphragm are configured to position the flexible diaphragm against the valve seat to seal the fluid conduit in a closed position of the self-sealing valve, and to facilitate movement of at least a part of the periphery of the flexible diaphragm in a first direction away from the valve seat to an open position.
Abstract:
A self-sealing valve for controlling the volume of fluid within an inflatable device. The valve includes a housing having a fluid conduit, a valve seat and a valve assembly that selectively seals the fluid conduit to provide a self-seal. The valve assembly includes a support member and a mounting device that holds a portion of a flexible diaphragm in a closed position, and that facilitates movement of at least part of the periphery of the diaphragm away from the valve seat to an open position and towards the valve seat to the closed position. The support member may be manually moved to any of the multiple open positions, either to enable fluid release or to enhance fluid injection. With the injection of fluid, the diaphragm assumes an open position, allowing fluid influx.
