摘要: The present invention relates to a scheduling unit in a wireless communication system. For sequentially receiving a plurality of Protocol Data Units (PDUs) in a plurality of communication sessions, accumulate and schedule the plurality of PDUs during a predetermined time frame, and transmit the PDUs based on a maximum power-strength of the wireless communication system. The scheduling unit comprises a time-based scheduler and a power-based scheduler. When the power-based scheduler schedules the PDUs, if the total sum of the required power of the PDUs exceeds the maximum power-strength of the wireless communication system, the power-based scheduler sends back to the time-based scheduler the PDUs whose power amounts to the exceeding of the maximum power-strength of the wireless communication system according to the corresponding priority values of the PDUs, so that the wireless communication system transmits all at a time the remaining PDUs whose total power remains within the maximum power-strength.

摘要: A method for determining an optical write power and an optical disc access system using the same. In addition to a typical Inner Power Calibration Area, the method includes an Outer (second) Power Calibration Area implementation on the outer area of a Readable/Writable Optical disc with a constant linear velocity (CLV) format; when a data writing speed selected by a user causes a rotation speed required by an optical power calibration on an Inner (first) Power Calibration Area of the disc greater than an Optical Power Calibration (OPC) limit, the optical disc access system uses a lower rotation speed for the optical power calibration on the Outer Power Calibration Area to ensure the accuracy of the power calibration.

摘要: An adjustable lift support apparatus includes a base, a sleeve attached onto the base, at least one meshing device, a shaft, and a support attached at the shaft. At least one groove is formed on an inner surface of the sleeve along a first axial direction. Each meshing device corresponds to one of the at least one groove and includes a flexible protrusion. The shaft is inserted into the sleeve. At least one rack is provided on an outer surface of the shaft along a second axial direction, such that the flexible protrusion of the meshing device is meshed between two neighboring teeth of the at least one rack. The support is lifted or lowered by an external force to make each of the at least one rack move with respect to the flexible protrusion of the corresponding meshing device, so as to adjust the height of the support.

摘要: This present invention is a system and method to adjust a searcher threshold parameter of a RAKE receiver. The adjusting system includes a searcher, a power estimator, and a parameter control apparatus. When the searcher finds and acquires a new path signal, the power estimator will estimate the power of the new path signal and that of the other path signals. The parameter control apparatus will calculate and monitor the power ratio corresponding to the new path signal. If the power ratio remains smaller than a predetermined power ratio parameter for a first predetermined times, the parameter control apparatus will increase the value of the threshold parameter. If the power ratio remains unchanged for a second predetermined times, the parameter control apparatus will lower the value of the threshold parameter. After that, the searcher will acquire the path signals among the multipath signal being searched in accordance with the adjusted threshold parameter. With this adjusted threshold parameter, the present invention can improve the sensitivity of the searcher, acquire the correct path signals in various environments, and provide the correct position of the path signal to the RAKE receiver.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a fluid injection device. The method of the present invention applies a compensated geometric shape of the unetched isolating portions to increase the additional compensated portion for etching, or the ion implanting process to reduce the etching rate of the unetched isolating portions. Thus, crosstalk or overshoot in the isolating portions of the fluid injection device can be reduced, and the fluid injection device can be precisely manufactured in a small size.

摘要: A flash unit for a camera comprises a bracket, a reflecting member, two fixed members and a flash emission tube. The bracket is disposed inside the camera, and the reflecting member is disposed inside the bracket. The fixed members are integrally formed on the bracket, and the flash emission tube is fixedly disposed inside the bracket by the fixed members. By integrally forming the fixed members on the bracket, the conventional rubber band for fixing the emission tube can be replaced. Since the number of the consisting elements of the flash unit are thereby reduced, its cost can also be reduced. In addition, assembly time can also be reduced.

摘要: A frequency offset detector for AFC under Rayleigh fading. The AFC includes a variable phase generator, an exponential term ej Δ107 t multiplied on an incoming signal, a low-pass filter, a gain amplifier, a multiplier, and an offset detector. The offset detector includes a filter, an amplifier, a delay block, three adders, and two blocks that output the absolute value of an inputted signal. The filter is a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter that produces a Hilbert Transformation of the inputted complex gain. The Hilbert FIR filter, together with the complex gain and two of the adders, generate two complex signals: Xp and Xn respectively representing the positive and negative frequency components of the inputted complex gain. The detector output is equal to the difference between the magnitudes of Xp and Xn.

摘要: A method for maintaining the inkjet chip of an inject device. The inkjet device comprises an ink cartridge, a carrier, a wiper and a wiper stage. The carrier is used to load the ink cartridge. The wiper stage is used to load the wiper. The ink cartridge contains ink and has an inkjet chip. The inkjet chip has at least a set of inkjet nozzles. The method comprises the steps of: (a) relatively moving the carrier onto the wiper stage to locate the wiper to a position where the wiper can wipe the inkjet chip; (b) spraying the ink contained in the ink cartridge onto the wiper to moisturize the wiper; and (c) relatively reciprocating the wiper stage and the carrier to make the wiper wipe the inkjet chip.
