摘要: The invention relates to an ophthalmic pressure control system, comprising: a pressure regulator having an input port and an output port, and an infusion line having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end being connected to the output port of the pressure regulator, and the distal end being detachably connected to an ophthalmic irrigation module. Further, the system includes a control unit driving the pressure regulator for controlling an infusion fluid pressure at a distal end of the ophthalmic irrigation module. The control unit is arranged for performing a fluid calibration process including a step of determining a fluid impedance of the ophthalmic irrigation module. The infusion line is associated with a kit of parts including a first and a second ophthalmic irrigation device, or the ophthalmic irrigation module is an ophthalmic irrigation device for surgical use.

摘要: The invention relates to an eye surgical lighting unit for lighting internal ocular tissue. The lighting unit comprises a fiber having a proximal end and a distal end, for guiding a light beam to the distal end. The lighting unit also comprises a manual unit, provided with a cannula and a handle having an internal passage positioned in line with the cannula. The fiber is adjustable between an intraocular operational position in which the fiber extends through the internal passage of the handle and through the cannula, and a chandelier operational position in which the fiber is uncoupled from the manual unit.

The unit has a base and a treadle that is configured for pivotal pitch movement and for pivotal yaw movement relative to the base for generating control signals to an ophthalmic surgery system. The unit further comprises an inlay cover that is removably placed on the treadle. Optionally, the unit comprises a locking element that is movable between a lock position wherein the treadle is locked against pivotal yaw movement and a release position wherein the treadle is enabled to perform pivotal yaw movement.

摘要: An eye surgical cutting tool includes a tubular outer part with a closed distal end and an opening in the tube of the outer part near the closed end. The opening is bounded by an edge profile formed in the tube, which has a distal cutting edge and an opposite proximal cutting edge. A tubular inner part has an open distal end and is arranged in the tubular outer part so as to be movable in an axial direction. A suction is configured to extend ocular tissue through the opening of the outer part into the interior of the outer part and to convey severed tissue via the interior of the inner part to a proximal end of the inner part.
