Abstract:
The present application relates to a cable tension adjuster for a manually operated, height-adjustable wheeled vehicle. The vehicle includes a brake assembly including a brake cable assembly and a brake cable housing shaped to enclose an excess portion of the brake cable assembly. The brake assembly includes a cable adjuster coupled to the brake cable assembly, where the cable adjuster is enclosed by the brake cable housing. The brake cable housing provides an access port to access the cable tension adjuster.
Abstract:
A water purification and softening system includes a water softening system, connected to a water supply, a temperature stabilization unit, connected to the water softening system, and a dispenser, connected to the temperature stabilization unit. The temperature stabilization unit is configured to adjust a temperature of the softened water to a range of 32° F. to 65° F., and the dispenser is configured to dispense the water. The water can also be carbonated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a folding mechanism for a walker apparatus. The folding mechanism includes a pair of spaced-apart inner frame members. Each of the inner frame members has a first part and a second part hingedly connected together. The folding mechanism includes a pair of link members diagonally extending between and pivotally connecting to the inner frame members. The link members operatively connect the inner frame members together. According to another aspect, there is provided a walker apparatus having a pair of spaced-apart, foldable inner frame members and a pair of diagonally-extending link members. The link members connect the inner frame members together.
Abstract:
There is provided a walker apparatus having a pair of upright, spaced-apart elongate members. Each elongate member includes an upper end for placing one's hands and a lower end spaced-apart from the upper end. A first pair of ground-engaging wheels are rotatably mounted to the elongate members at the lower ends. The apparatus includes a pair of support members that are spaced-apart and arc-shaped. The support members align respectively with and extend from the elongate members to distal ends of the support members. The support members have apexes extending towards the upper ends of the elongate members. A second pair of ground-engaging wheels operatively connect to the distal ends of the support members. The apparatus includes a seat for resting connecting to the apexes of the support members, the support members thereby supporting the seat.
Abstract:
There is provided a walker apparatus having a frame, a wheel pivotally connected to the frame, and a brake pad assembly. The assembly has a brake housing configured to partially cover the wheel. The assembly has a brake pad mechanism including a brake pad lever pivotally mounted to the housing. The brake pad lever is actuated via a first end and has a second end spaced-apart therefrom. The brake pad mechanism has a brake pad connected to the brake pad lever adjacent to the second end of the brake pad lever. The brake pad lever is spring-biased to position the brake pad spaced-apart from and adjacent to the wheel. The brake pad lever is configured to cause the brake pad to abut the wheel when the lever is actuated. The brake housing extends about the brake pad mechanism for fully protecting the brake pad mechanism.
Abstract:
A brake assembly for a manually-operated, height-adjustable wheeled vehicle according to a first aspect includes a brake cable assembly. The brake assembly includes a brake cable housing shaped to enclose an excess portion of the brake cable assembly. The brake assembly includes a cable adjuster coupled to the brake cable assembly. The cable adjuster is enclosed by the brake cable housing. There is additionally provided a wheel fork assembly for a manually-operated, height-adjustable wheeled vehicle according to a first aspect. The vehicle includes a frame member. The wheel fork assembly includes a mount shaped to couple with a lower end of the frame member of the vehicle. The mount has a longitudinal axis. The wheel fork assembly includes a wheel fork having a longitudinal axis offset from the longitudinal axis of the mount. The wheel fork is integrally coupled to and formed with the mount.

Abstract:
There is a provided a collapsible walker. The walker includes a pair of spaced-apart, arc-shaped support members. Each support member has a proximal end, a distal end and an apex spaced therebetween. Respective rods extend from the distal ends towards the proximal ends of the support members. A seat extends between and connects to the apexes of the support members. A basket with a pair of spaced-apart ends members operatively connects to and extends between the support members. The end members are positioned adjacent to the distal ends of the support members. Each end member operatively connects to both a respective one of the rods and a respective one of the support members. The walker includes a pair of connection brackets for connecting the end members to the walker. Each connection bracket extends from a respective one of the support members to a respective one of the rods.
Abstract:
There is provided a brake rod assembly for a walker apparatus. The assembly includes a brake rod operatively connected to a brake for braking the walker apparatus. The assembly includes a connection member operatively connected to a brake handle. The assembly includes a gripping member that is spring-biased to slidably receive the brake rod. The gripping member has an adjustment mechanism rigidly connected thereto that adjustably engages a connection member. Actuation of the connection member tilts the gripping member upwards and engages the brake rod for braking the walker apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bath seat. The bath seat has a top and a pair of centrally disposed and spaced-apart drainage holes in communication with the top. The top of the seat includes a channel extending between the drainage holes. The channel has an enlarged first end, an enlarged second end and a connecting portion connecting the ends of the channel together. Fluid entering into the channel is directed to the drainage holes and thereby drains from the seat.
