摘要： A heater is provided for a waste water system comprising of a heating element encased in a protective pipe. The pipe is closed at one end and attached at the opposite end to an end cap that may be connected by a standard fitting to a sewer installation. The protective pipe is sealed to the end cap and the heating element is removable from within the protective pipe without adversely affecting the integrity of the installation.

Each module has a frusto conical baffle overlying a heat exchange core to direct fluid radial across the core. A chimney is provided centrally in the baffle to promote radial flow. The modules may be located within a housing and ports are provide to allow flow in to the housing adjacent each of the cores.

摘要： A method of forming an end seal on a cable is provided. The method includes providing a curable sealant in a cavity formed in a boot, inserting an end of the cable in to the cavity with the boot extending about the exterior of the cable, forcing the cable in to the curable sealant whilst inhibiting the egress of curable sealant from the boot to force the curable sealant along the interior of the cable, curing the curable sealant to provide a stable load supporting layer of sealant within the cable, and applying a crimping ring to the boot in the area of the load supporting layer to secure the boot to the cable.

摘要： A heating assembly for use in a fluid line has a heating cable including electrical resistance wires encapsulated in a metal sheath. The cable passes through a fitting where it is connected to a power supply. The connection between the power supply and the heating cable is encapsulated within the fitting, and the metal sheath is secured to the fitting with a permanent connection. A bushing is provided to support the connection between the resistance wires and the power supply within the fitting. The elongate sheath may be inserted into a fluid line and the fitting connected to that line using a mechanical connection.
