摘要: A heat exchanger that includes two or more thermal circuits configured to exchange heat. The thermal circuits are located relative to one another in a configuration defined by one of the following:
i) in a stacked plate manifold that includes first and second plates configured for inlet/outlet connections and to divide fluid flow into separate tubes with the exchange of heat through a single face;
ii) in a complex manifold comprising two or more distributors that separate fluid flow into each thermal circuit with the exchange of heat through a single face; and
iii) in a plurality of stacked evaporators; each evaporator comprising a plurality of coils with fins located there between, wherein the evaporators include at least one coil section in which fins are absent.-

摘要: A flexible manifold adapted for use on a plate-fin heat exchanger core, the flexible manifold including a plurality of individual layers configured to be metallurgically joined to respective ones of a plurality of layers of the plate-fin heat exchanger core, and further including a first end with at least one port adapted to receive or discharge a medium, a second end distal from the first end, adapted to transfer the medium to or from the plurality of individual layers, a plurality of horizontal guide vanes defining the plurality of individual layers, and a plurality vertical members positioned within each of the individual layers. The flexible manifold is configured to be mechanically and thermally compliant, and can be metallurgically joined to the heat exchanger core by brazing or welding.

摘要: A water cooling heat dissipation structure includes a first and a second plate, a water cooling heat dissipation body, which is composed of a plurality of stacked heat dissipation members. The first plate, the heat dissipation members, and the second plate are in sequence stacked up into one and another to integrally form the water cooling heat dissipation structure by heat treatment. The water cooling heat dissipation body has a top side attached to one side of the first plate and a bottom side thereof attached to the second plate, so as to secure two sides of a flow passage of the water cooling heat dissipation body. A first and a second connecting portion is respectively provided on two sides of the first plate or the water cooling heat dissipation body, and the first and the second connecting portion is communicable with the flow passage.

摘要: A counterflow heat exchanger for battery thermal management has a base plate, cover plate and manifold cover. The base plate includes alternating first and second longitudinal fluid flow passages. The cover plate is sealed to the base plate to enclose the first and second fluid flow passages, and includes a first fluid opening and a plurality of second fluid openings arranged at spaced apart intervals across a width of the cover plate. The manifold cover comprises an embossment surrounded by a peripheral flange which is sealed to the cover plate and surrounds at least the plurality of second fluid openings. The interior of the embossment defines a manifold chamber in flow communication with the second fluid openings in the cover plate. The top of the manifold cover has at least a second fluid opening in flow communication with the plurality of second fluid openings through the manifold chamber.

摘要: The heat exchanger comprises at least one gas flow channel, at least one water flow channel, and a metal wall delimiting the gas flow channel from the water flow channel. The at least one water flow channel comprises a number of consecutive parallel straight segments. Two consecutive parallel straight segments are separated by a wall and by a U-turn comprising an upstream section and a downstream section. The upstream and the downstream sections are defined as the sections of the U-turn delimited on the one hand by the plane of the wall separating the two consecutive parallel straight segments; and on the other hand by the plane through the end section of the wall separating the two consecutive parallel straight segments, the plane which is parallel with the width direction of the water flow channel and which is perpendicular to the plane of the wall separating the two consecutive parallel straight segments. In at least two U-turns the upstream section has a volume that is at least 20% lower than the volume of the downstream section.

摘要: There is provided an EGR cooler having a core portion in which a large number of flat tubes through which exhaust gases pass are stacked one on another in an interior of a hollow cylindrical shell to be joined to the shell for heat exchange between the exhaust gases and a cooling fluid which flows around the tubes, a cylindrical inlet header which is joined to an upstream side of the shell in relation to a gas flow at one end thereof, and a cylindrical outlet header which is joined to a downstream side of the core portion in relation to the gas flow at one end thereof, characterized in that the inlet header and the outlet header are joined to an outer surface of the shell, and the tubes are joined to an inner surface of the shell at those joint portions.

摘要: The application relates to a heat exchanger having a block with ribs and rectangular tubes. The block is arranged between a first collecting box and a second collecting box. Each collecting box is closed off by a base which has eyelets for receiving the tubes, and a trough-shaped circulating section for receiving the collecting box extends along the edge of the base. The base has an elevated contact region on at least one end face for the tube which lies directly opposite the end face in order to allow a stable structure of the heat exchanger, collecting boxes, and block.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a tube sheet by forming a plurality of separate thin tube sheet segments; forming multiple holes in each sheet in a predetermined pattern, each hole for accommodating a tube sheet filter tube; aligning all of the plurality of tube sheet segments so that the hole pattern of each sheet aligns with the hole pattern in all other sheets of the plurality of tube sheet segments; and securing all of the tube sheet segments together to form a unitary tube sheet. A tube sheet construction that includes a plurality of separate thin tube sheet segments, multiple holes being provided in each sheet in a predetermined pattern, each hole for accommodating a tube sheet filter tube, all of the tube sheet segments being aligning so that the hole pattern of each sheet aligns, and fasteners for securing all of the tube sheet segments together. A media layer is provided between adjacent sheet segments.
