摘要: A pile-driver assembly for driving a pile into the ground is disclosed. The assembly includes a casing defining a chamber configured to house a fluid; a positioning element configured to position the casing at or on the pile; and actuating means. Actuation of the actuating means displaces the chamber relative to the positioning element such that the chamber moves away from the pile to an elevated position. The actuating means is configured to release the chamber from the elevated position for displacement towards the pile such that a force is exerted by the chamber on the positioning member, to controllably drive the pile into the ground. The assembly further includes buffering means, the buffering means being configured to controllably buffer the force exerted by the chamber on the pile as the pile is driven into the ground. The buffering means is configured to rebound the chamber to a rebound position. Further actuation of the actuating means displaces the chamber relative to the positioning element, such that the chamber moves from the rebound position to the elevated position. A control system for controlling the pile-driver assembly and a method of driving a pile into ground using the pile-driver assembly are also disclosed.

摘要: An impeller for a centrifugal pump comprises a rotor; a shaft shield connected to the rotor and having an axial supply; a suction shield connected to the rotor and axially set apart from the shaft shield; and a plurality of blades between the shaft shield and suction shield and connected to the rotor. Each blade comprises a leading edge and a trailing edge connecting between the shaft shield and the suction shield and a suction side and a pressure side, wherein each blade cross-section is thicker near the leading edge on the suction and pressure sides, and tapers to a thinner cross-section near the trailing edge. Each blade connects to the suction shield at the leading edge with an extensive fillet providing curvature toward the suction shield along the leading edge.

摘要: A coupling system for temporarily coupling a jacket with a foundation pile includes a first flange for mounting with the jacket, a second flange for contacting the foundation pile, and an inflatable spacing member arranged between the first flange and second flange. The inflatable spacing member contacts both the first flange and second flange for supporting the jacket through the spacing member.

摘要: A method for determining a height (hs) of a settled bed in a mixture in a loading space (1). The mixture consists of a settled bed (5) and a mixture soup (3) which is located above the settled bed (5). The method includes: a) providing an elongated resonance member (10) in the loading space (1) which extends in a substantial vertical direction, b) measuring a resonance frequency (fo) of the resonance member (10), c) computing a height (hs) of the settled bed (5), Action b) includes determining an indication of or imposing the tensile force (Fs) acting in the longitudinal direction of the resonance member (10) and c) includes computing a height (hs) of the settled bed (5) based on the measured resonance frequency (fo) and the determined indication of the tensile force or the imposed tensile force.

摘要: A blade for an impeller comprises a blade with a front portion with a leading edge and a trailing portion with a trailing edge joined by spaced apart pressure and suction sides to form an exterior blade surface. The blade pressure side is formed from an outer envelope of a first blade profile aligned in a first position; and at least a part of the front portion of the blade suction side is formed by rotating the first blade profile around the leading edge to match an angle of the incoming flow at a lower flowrate condition of the impeller.
