    摘要: A forming method for a heat dissipating structure is provided. According to the method, an extrudate is formed by extrution molding, wherein the extrudate includes protruding bending portions extending in parallel. Fins are extruded monolithically on the bending portions. One or more cut channels are formed by cutting the fins and the extrudate with a cutting tool. The cutting tool cuts the fins for forming a notch on each fin at first, and then cuts the bending portions for forming a cut-through slot on each bending portion, wherein each cut-through slot is formed for cooling air flowing through two side of the extrudate. By cutting the bending portions and the fins by the cutting tool at the same time, a large number of cut-through slots are formed in despite of the existence of the fins, and the performance of heat dissipation is enhanced.

    摘要: An apparatus and method are provided to monitor the current temperature of a hard drive in a computer system protect, and protect the hard drive from being overheated. The apparatus includes a thermal sensor and a data input/output module. The hard drive stores at least one application program. The thermal sensor senses a current temperature of the hard drive. When the thermal sensor senses that the current temperature of the hard drive ascends to a first preset temperature, the data input/output module ceases the hard drive from being accessed. When the thermal sensor senses that the current temperature of the hard drive descends to a second preset temperature, the data input/output module allows the hard drive to be accessed.

    摘要: A wireless local network reconnecting system and method is provided. The method detects a connection-lost signal generated when a network node of the wireless local network group lost connection. A reconnecting coordinate is calculated according to the connection-lost signal and transmitted to the connection-lost network node through an external communication network. Afterwards, the method guides the connection-lost network node to move to the reconnecting coordinate and reconnect with the wireless local network group wirelessly. Since the external communication network is used to connect with the connection-lost network node, the connection-lost network node is able to reconnect with the wireless local network group through the proposed method.

    摘要: A method for reconstructing a RAID system is disclosed. Plural disks are corresponded to plural pieces of unique recognition data, where each disk corresponds to one of the recognition data. A disk profile is generated according to the recognition data using a RAID system, wherein the disk profile comprises a logic section combined with the disks and the logic section respectively corresponds to the recognition data of different disks based on stored data in different disks. The disks are mounted to a computer device providing the RAID system. The mounted disks are mapped to correct disk mount addresses according to the disk profile to reconstruct the stored data of the disks in the computer device.

    摘要: A method is provided to heat a target device of a computer system by a heater equipped therein. The target device is heated to reach a target temperature through multiple temperature intervals. The method senses the current device temperature of the target device to compare with the preset interval temperature of the temperature interval and obtain a phase difference for adjusting a heating power. When heating the target device by the heating power, the current preset interval temperature of the current temperature interval is increased progressively by a preset temperature rising value to obtain the next preset interval temperature of the next temperature interval. Repeat the foregoing steps in every temperature interval until the preset interval temperature or the device temperature reaching the target temperature.

    摘要: A positioning system and method are provided to use multiple RFID readers to position a target object with an active RFID tag equipped thereon. The system and method defines a geometric center of the locations of the RFID readers as a first coordinate. When the RFID readers continuously receive RF signals of the active RFID tag, a corresponding signal intensity of each of the RF signals is calculated and compared to obtain an approaching vector corresponding to the location of the RFID reader with the greatest signal intensity of the RF signal. A positioned location of the target object is then approached from the first coordinate to a second coordinate according to the approaching vector. The first coordinate and the positioned location of the target object will be reset as the second coordinate. The reset first coordinate is output as the latest positioned location of the target object.
