摘要： A device attachable to a plane of glass to set off an alarm in response to its breakage but immune to other vibrations. The device comprises a base attachable to the glass by an adhesive, a member carried by the base and spring-urged from a set to an alarm position, and a sensing element holding the member in its set position and responsive only to glass breakage to release the member. The sensing element comprises a curved spring fixed at one end and responsive only to the shock wave of the shattering glass to trigger the device, the spring being immune from triggering excitation normal to the glass plane.

摘要： A circular waveguide dual antenna feed for TVRO reception, which transfers horizontally and vertically polarized received signals in the circular waveguide simultaneously into two coaxial lines parallel with and offset from the circular waveguide axis. For coupling to existing LNA's, the separate coaxial lines from the circular waveguide are extended into a rectangular waveguide which couples to the input-mixer of the conventional LNA. Alternatively, the separate coaxial lines can be coupled separately to two LNA's or they can be combined into a single output terminal. Switching means are provided in each channel so that each channel can be rendered operative or inoperative, as desired. Diode switches are shown. The device requires no moving parts.

The device includes a resiliently deformable electrically conductive member (preferably a metal-filled elastomer) for electrically contacting first and second stripline conductors within the device. There is provision for applying a longitudinal compressive force on the first and second stripline conductors compressing the resiliently deformable electrically conductive member between them. 摘要： An intrusion detection system including a microwave transmitter for generating plane polarized microwave energy, a microwave antenna which is adapted for radiation and reception of the microwave energy in a predetermined pattern, a duplexer for converting the plane polarized energy from the transmitter into circularly polarized energy for radiation from the antenna and for converting received circularly polarized energy reflected from an object into plane polarized energy having an electric field which is orthogonal to the electric field of the energy from the transmitter, a mixer for mixing the received microwave energy and a small portion of the microwave energy generated by the transmitter to provide a signal having a component representative of the doppler effect, and a receiver for detecting the doppler component to provide a signal representative thereof. The signal representative of the doppler effect is received by a signal processor which converts the signal to a square wave signal of like frequency and integrates the square wave signal to provide an integral signal which, upon attaining a predetermined level, indicates the presence of an intruder. The antenna preferably consists of a parabolic reflector and a splash plate and has identical patterns of radiation and reception so as to generally delineate the area of surveillance of the intrusion detecting system. Preferably, the splash plate is a metallic foil which is affixed to a dielectric support member and which is configured to provide the desired pattern of radiation and reception.

摘要： A microminiature coaxial connector is described. The connector comprises a male half and a female half and an annular electrical spring contact member which functions to provide continuous annular outer conductor electrical contact and RFI suppression. The annular spring member provides continuous annular outer conductor contact between facing surfaces at said male and female surfaces even during slight conductor misalignment. The spring is retained on said female member by a groove adjacent the outer end thereof, the outer end thereof is tapered away from a collar defining the outer end of the groove towards its axis, and the male member is at least 5% larger in diameter than the diameter of said female member adjacent the collar and said spring member extends at least 5% beyond the diameter of said collar.
