    摘要： Sash carriers mounted to the sides of a sash support the sash in a window frame for sliding movement between sliding closed and sliding open positions. Balance springs on the sash carriers counterbalance the weight of the sash during the sliding movement. The sash can be mounted to the sash carriers for tilting movement between tilt closed and tilt open positions. Brakes on the sash carriers are actuated by the sash when the sash is moved to the tilt open position, and inhibit sliding movement of the sash carriers and sash when the sash is in the tilt open position.

The second body portion defines a second receiving surface and a second coupling surface and a second body peripheral surface. The first coupling surface of the first sash portion is coupled to the second coupling surface of the second sash portion. The integrated sash unit also includes a first glazing panel supported by and coupled to the first inner wall surface of the first sash portion without being coupled to the second sash portion and a second glazing panel supported by and coupled to the second inner wall surface of the second sash portion without being coupled to the first sash portion.

    摘要： Various systems and methods for demonstrating acoustic properties of a fenestration unit are provided herein. A system includes a sound demonstration apparatus having a sound insulating member defining an acoustic chamber, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus includes at least one open face. The system also includes a sound emitter operable to be positioned in the acoustic chamber of the sound demonstration apparatus, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus is operable to engage the fenestration unit at the open face of the sound demonstration apparatus. The method includes positioning the sound demonstration apparatus and a fenestration unit, such that the fenestration unit and the sound demonstration apparatus are operably engaged and form an acoustic chamber. The method includes activating a sound emitter.

The catch assembly is configured to couple to an outer surface of a sash. The catch assembly includes a catch element. The screen assembly includes a roller housing, a roller assembly, a control bar, and screen material. The roller housing is configured to couple to an outer surface of the frame. The control bar includes a hook element extending along at least a portion of the control bar. The hook element is configured to selectively engage the catch element. The roller assembly is configured to apply tension to the screen material to permit the screen material to unwind from the roller assembly under a tension applied by moving the catch assembly away from the roller assembly when the hook element engages the catch element.
