    摘要: A method of detecting concealed objects using a thermal imager includes obtaining an output comprising a plurality of pixels representing a person, analyzing each pixel matching a contour of the person and excluding any pixel within a blob bounding box of the person, and determining whether a pixel address is represented in a pixel map. In addition, the method includes comparing a value of each remaining pixel to an allowable minimum threshold value representing a lower pre-defined body temperature, and comparing the value of each remaining pixel greater than or equal to the allowable minimum threshold value to an upper allowable threshold value representing an upper pre-defined body temperature. The method also includes excluding any of the remaining pixels within a range between the lower and upper pre-defined body temperatures to define final set of pixels, and calculating a pixel difference to indicate a severity of the difference.

    摘要: A system and method for manipulating computer data using a new GUI element is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the new GUI element is a composite of a traditional GUI button control and a traditional GUI slider control. In one embodiment, a composite slidable button control appears and functions similar to a traditional button control on the GUI. Dragging the composite control past its predetermined anchor distance un-anchors the composite control allowing it to travel similar to a traditional slider control, optionally constrained in direction(s) and distance(s) by predetermined settings. During the slider adjustment phase, the composite control can optionally overlap other GUI elements realizing a more compact and efficient GUI appearance. In another embodiment, a composite clickable slider control appears and functions similar to a traditional slider control on the GUI. Clicking on the composite control's slider handle invokes the button functionality while dragging the handle invokes the slider functionality, again affording the composite control the ability to function as both a button and a slider control.

    摘要: A method of progressive analysis for assessment of occluded data is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the method includes capturing sensor data from at least one sensor, identifying a target of interest using the sensor data, and determining a location and orientation of the target of interest using a last computed direction of travel of the target. The method also includes segmenting the sensor data of the target of interest into segments for analysis and determining whether a particular segment of the segments is occluded. In addition, the method includes determining whether additional sensor data from the at least one sensor confirms that the particular occluded segment is no longer occluded allowing unresolved analysis to be supplemented with progressive analysis to provide incremental resolution to the analysis.

In a particular embodiment, the method includes capturing thermal sensor data from the handheld thermal imager, transmitting the thermal sensor data to a processor, and formatting the sensor data using the processor. The method also includes identifying a pre-determined relative difference between a temperature of a subject and a background scene and isolating the subject of interest from the background scene in the thermal sensor data using the processor. In addition, the method includes detecting a deviation in the temperature within a discrete area to suggest a size and location of the concealed object on the subject and filtering the thermal sensor data to generate a visual image displaying the concealed object on the subject of interest.
