Abstract: A non-intrusive detection method for detecting at least one pop-up window button of the pop-up window includes the following steps: retrieving a screen image on a display device; comparing the screen image with a preset screen image and generating a differential image area according the screen image and the preset screen image; determining the differential image area as the pop-up window when the differential image area is greater than an image area threshold value; selecting a plurality of contour lengths of the pop-up window matching up with a contour length threshold value by Canny edge detector; and analyzing the contour lengths according to Douglas-Peucker algorithm and an amount of endpoints to generate a contour edge corresponding to the pop-up window button.

Abstract: A method of detecting concealed objects using a thermal imager includes obtaining an output comprising a plurality of pixels representing a person, analyzing each pixel matching a contour of the person and excluding any pixel within a blob bounding box of the person, and determining whether a pixel address is represented in a pixel map. In addition, the method includes comparing a value of each remaining pixel to an allowable minimum threshold value representing a lower pre-defined body temperature, and comparing the value of each remaining pixel greater than or equal to the allowable minimum threshold value to an upper allowable threshold value representing an upper pre-defined body temperature. The method also includes excluding any of the remaining pixels within a range between the lower and upper pre-defined body temperatures to define final set of pixels and calculating a pixel difference to indicate a severity of the difference.

Abstract: An image analysis apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a processor; and a memory storing program instructions that cause the processor to: determine a shape of a particle included in a particle image that is extracted from an image of an object, so that an OK particle image which is a particle image of an OK particle that satisfies a predetermined standard for shape and a provisional NG particle image which is a particle image of a provisional NG particle that does not satisfy the predetermined standard, are obtained; generate a pseudo image using a generative model; and determine whether the provisional NG image and the pseudo image are similar, wherein in a case where the provisional NG image and the pseudo image are determined to be similar, the provisional NG particle is determined as including an OK particle.

Abstract: A system and method for scoring trained probes for use in analyzing one or more candidate poses of a runtime image is provided. A set of probes with location and gradient direction based on a trained model are applied to one or more candidate poses based upon a runtime image. The applied probes each respectively include a discrete set of position offsets with respect to the gradient direction thereof. A match score is computed for each of the probes, which includes estimating a best match position for each of the probes respectively relative to one of the offsets thereof, and generating a set of individual probe scores for each of the probes, respectively at the estimated best match position.

Abstract: An imaging system registers image data (Dimg) in connection with an installation performing at least one action relating to an animal. A system for image data quality assurance contains a control unit and a digital storage unit. The control unit obtains image data (Dimg) registered by the imaging system when the installation is in an idle mode. The control unit analyzes the obtained image data (Dimg) to determine if a cleaning action to remove dirt (D) from a front window of the imaging system has been performed. If it is determined that such a cleaning action has been performed, control unit (120) causes a point in time for the cleaning action to be recorded in the digital storage unit (130) for use performance tracking of the installation in conjunction with the cleaning actions.
