摘要： In one aspect, the present disclosure involves a re-aeration device and re-aeration method for constructed wetland. In one aspect, the re-aeration device comprises a re-aeration pipe and a windmill. The re-aeration pipe has a tubular structure with openings at both ends; one end inserts into the wetland substrate, and the other end connects with the windmill for receiving and accelerating air flow. The re-aeration pipe may also contain several telescoped or parallel arranged pipes with openings at both ends as well as with different pipe diameters and lengths, which connect with the windmill to form the re-aeration device. The present disclosure also provides a method of re-aeration for constructed wetlands by using the above-mentioned device. The re-aeration device provided herein has features of being simple in structure, environment friendly, and low-cost. In one aspect, the re-aeration method is characterized as simple, practicable, energy-efficient, environment friendly, low-cost, widely applicable, and having good effect and high performance on re-aeration.

摘要： Apparatus for trimming grass around sprinkler heads or tending a small garden area includes a tubular member having a plurality of serrations formed on one end for cutting grass around such sprinkler heads. A housing member partially disposed for reciprocal movement within the tubular member. A plate disposed for closing one end of housing member and having an outer periphery engageable with an inner surface of such tubular member for guiding during reciprocal movement. A second guide disposed around outer periphery of such housing member intermediate each end thereof. Another elongated rod like member engages an end of such first elongated rod like member. A caged biasing means is disposed over the second rod like member for absorbing shock during use of apparatus and a mechanism for manipulating the apparatus while trimming such grass around such sprinkler head or tending such small garden area.

The present turner includes an elongate cylindrical barrel having an outer cylindrical surface having a diametrical extent of less than about 5 inches and a plurality of elongate projections extending generally radially outwardly from the cylindrical surface at spaced locations thereon. The turner includes a handle supporting the cylindrical barrel for rotation about a cylindrical axis thereof. The present method includes holding the handle to push or pull the cylindrical barrel across a region of the layer of the landscaping mulch material to rotate the barrel such that the projections will penetrate into the mulch material and lift and reorient portions thereof to thicken the layer, without substantially disturbing the underlying surface.

摘要： A hand-operated lawn aerator which can be used to extract plugs of thatch and soil from a lawn. The device includes a long hollow tubular member having a cutting head at one end. The hollow tubular cutting head is driven into the ground with an operator's foot by placing weight on a foot support attached to the cutting head. A plunger disc attached to a rod within the tubular head is used to eject the thatch or core of earth from the interior of the cutting head when the cutting head is lifted from the ground. A first supple washer is provided on the plunger disc to move with the plunger disc to wipe against the inside of the hollow cutting head to wipe the inside surface clean. A second supple washer is fixedly positioned inside the tubular body and is positioned to seal the interior of the tubular body from mud and moisture when the cutting tool is used to cut a plug of soil. Inside the tubular body and above the second supple washser is a spring attached to the plunger rod to normally bias the plunger rod in an upward position.

摘要： A lawn plugger includes a tubular body with a hollow punch attached to the lower end thereof. A foot is held slidably on the punch by a spring connected between the body and the foot. In use, the punch is thrust into the ground cutting out a plug and causing the foot to slide upwardly on the punch thereby compressing the spring. As a result, the spring urges the foot against the ground around the plug being removed and, at the same time, urges the plugger upwardly to assist in withdrawing the punch from the ground. As an incident to removing subsequent plugs from the ground, the prior plugs are forced upwardly through the punch and into the body by the new plugs. Within the body, a diverter directs the old plugs out through an opening in the side of the body.

摘要： Lawn-aerating apparatus for punching a multiplicity of holes in terrain comprising an electric motor carried on a wheeled frame and coupled to a plurality of spiker rod elements. In a first embodiment the rotary drive cooperates with a cam mechanism, Which is normally decoupled but which engages when pressure is applied against the tips of the spiker rod elements, to vertically reciprocate the rods at relatively high frequency so as to drive them into the ground. In a modified embodiment the spiking elements are in the form of augers which are coupled by a gear arrangement for common rotation by the motor so as to screw them into the ground. In both embodiments the wheels and frame are carried on a spring-biased suspension which assists in the in-and-out motion of the law perforator as it is rolled along the ground punching holes in the terrain.
