摘要： The invention is a device for removing weeds and the like from the ground. The device is a simply attachment for a drill. It has a body with a shaft protruding from the center and at least two prongs protruding from the opposite side of the body at distances equidistant from the center. The free end of the shaft is placed into the chuck of an electric drill and the prongs are forced into the ground so that they are placed around a weed. The user operates the drill, thus spinning the prongs around the weed. The prongs entangle the weed's roots and bore a small hole in the ground, allowing the user to easily remove the weed. The prongs are then placed into the ground close to the hole, and the drill is slowly operated, thus refilling the hole. The invention has a plurality of edges and corners that allow the operator to shear weeds and the like that become entangled on the device, thus easily removing them.

摘要： A high performance tool for weed removal and transplanting small plants comprises a blade, foot step and elongated handle. The blade is attached to one handle end and the foot step is attached to the blade at the handle end. The blade tip is driven into the earth near a plant root or transplant location with operator foot pressure on the foot step. The operator then pushes downward on the opposite handle end and the tool operates as a lever with fulcrum at blade or foot step contact with the earth surface, causing the blade tip to lift upward and remove a plant or soil portion. A narrow flat blade with sharpened tip presents a small profile for easy earth penetration. A long handle allows the operator to work from a beneficial standing position, and leverage produced by handle to blade relative length amplifies blade tip lifting force.

摘要： A compost aerator and monitor which has a cylindrical helical screw, preferably with a sharpened first end. The diameter of the cylindrical helix and the tightness of the windings are selected so as, when the screw is inserted into a compost pile, to create a core of compost material that is sufficiently large to be cohesive and representative but not so large that the weight of the core will cause the core to fall from the screw when such screw is withdrawn from the compost pile. Attached to the second end of the screw is a handle with sufficient leverage to enable the screw to be turned rapidly and, consequently, rapidly introduced into a compost pile and to preclude the screw from rotating as the screw is withdrawn from the pile, thereby retaining the core of compost material. Optionally, either a traditional brace or a traditional power drill can replace the simple handle; and a shaft can be inserted between the screw and the handle or the brace. The handle or brace may be either permanently or removably attached to the screw or the shaft, while the power drill is removably connected to the screw or the shaft.

A coil spring normally urges the inner scraper upwardly into a storage position adjacent to a top end of the blades. An extension is secured to the inner scraper for being depressed by the foot of a user against the force of the spring to move the inner scraper downwardly along the length of the blades.

摘要： A garden hand tool having a tubular outer member terminating at its bottom end in an elliptically shaped peripheral edge with such end being open, a plunger reciprocally mounted in the tubular member and a spring that resiliently biases the plunger upwardly in a direction away from the elliptically shaped open bottom end.
