Abstract:
A tire for a furrow press roller comprises a sole via which the tire is mounted on a field roller support, a tread opposite to the sole, and two sidewalls connecting the tread to the sole. The sole, the tread and the sidewalls together delimit a non-inflatable chamber. The tread comprises at least one crest and two shoulders each connecting the crest to a respective sidewall. The chamber extends partially at least laterally under the shoulders and radially into the crest.

Abstract:
A tool for working in fields includes a first flange and a second flange which mount one on the other, forming a wheel body. The first flange includes a central portion, a generally annular peripheral portion and at least one arm which connect(s) the central portion and the peripheral portion to each other. The second flange is homologous to the peripheral portion of the first flange. In the assembled state, the wheel body has a rim which is formed together by the peripheral portion of the first flange and the second flange and a hub which is formed by the central portion of the first flange.
Abstract:
The semi-hollow pneumatic tire (10) has an axis of revolution and comprises a sole (20) capable of being mounted on the periphery of a rotary support (12), a tread (24) opposite the sole (20), and two sidewalls (26) each connecting the sole and the tread so as to form together a cover (28) which defines an uninflated chamber (30) inside the pneumatic tire. The tread (24) has a concave profile according to a plane passing through the axis of revolution, and the pneumatic tire comprises two annular ridges (34) which extend, respectively, the two sidewalls (26) in the outer radial direction and which are connected to two opposite ends (32) of the tread (24), the two annular ridges (34) defining, respectively, two principal directions (D) which intersect at an acute angle so that, when the pneumatic tire comes into contact with soil, by being subjected to a vertical load, the two annular ridges (34) move closer together locally in such a manner as to exert a pinching effect on the soil, causing an increase in the concavity of the tread (24) and an increase in the angle (A). Application especially to agricultural sowing machines.
Abstract:
An agricultural wheel includes a body including a rim, and a semi-hollow-type tire including a flexible case including a sheath and a tread. The rim includes a seat section, suitable for receiving the tire, and a tool section, suitable for scraping the seed drill disc. The tread has a profile domed towards the outside of the tire. The case includes a first sidewall, close to the tool section, connecting the sheath to the tread. The sidewall extends radially or slightly inclined radially. The rim includes an intermediate axial section which connects the tool section to the seat section. The intermediate section is shaped as an axial stop for the tire which is form fitted with the first sidewall. The tire is mounted on the seat section by means of the sheath in an axially stressed state which maintains the first sidewall in contact against the stop.

Abstract:
An agricultural implement comprises a wheel body with a peripheral groove, a tire with a bead projecting radially inward, and a radial lock which locks the tire around the wheel body. The bead is shaped so as to be housed in the groove when the tire is mounted around the wheel body. The radial lock comprises a first aperture formed in the wheel body, opening into the groove on the one hand and onto a main face of the wheel body on the other hand, at least a second aperture formed in the bead of the tire, opening substantially facing the first aperture, and a pin placed in the first aperture and the second aperture.
Abstract:
A ground shaping machine, particularly an agricultural machine, including a frame, at least one roller fitted with a flexible tire, a first bearing and a second bearing whereby the roller can rotate about a substantially horizontal axis in the working position, the first bearing and the second bearing being positioned one at each end of the roller. The frame has a first support and a second support, the first support at least being connected to the first bearing through a suspension device including a mechanism with an upper arm and a lower arm, both substantially horizontal and perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the roller, each of the upper and lower arms being connected by a joint to the first support, and to the first bearing, the mechanism forming a deformable quadrilateral, while the suspension device also have a substantially vertical resilient return member connected by a joint to the first support and to the first bearing.
Abstract:
Pneumatic tire 1 for an agricultural machine, having an axis of revolution XX and comprising a tread 7, a sole 11 situated opposite the tread 7, and two sidewalls 13, 15 connecting the tread 7 to the sole 11. The tread 7, the sole 11 and the two sidewalls 13, 15 together form a casing 17 defining a chamber 19 inside the pneumatic tire 1. At least one of the sidewalls 13, 15 comprises, in this order and in succession in a direction oriented radially from the axis of revolution XX to the outside, a proximal portion 131, an intermediate portion 133 and a distal portion 135. In the unloaded state, the intermediate portion 133 projects into the chamber 19 in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of revolution XX.
