摘要： Disclosed are hay bale spikes for tractors used to carry hay bales. A hay bale carrying system includes a frame attachable to a tractor. The frame includes a first spike rigidly connected and a second spike movably attached parallel to the first spike, where the second spike is movable to a position that is not parallel to the first spike. An opening in the frame may position a pin to matingly accept the second spike that includes a lever arm on the opposite side of the pin from the spike. The lever arm may include a connector near its end connectable to a hydraulic cylinder such that expansion and contraction of the hydraulic cylinder provides leverage through the pin to the second spike to move the second spike from a first parallel position relative to the first spike to a second non-parallel position.

摘要： Quick attach front end loader for an agricultural tractor. Loader has a pair of laterally spaced longitudinal rod members at each side. Tractor has sockets and guides to receive the rod members. The loader becomes supported on the tractor merely by driving tractor forwards until the rod members are received in the sockets. The lateral spacing of the sockets gives structural rigidity while minimizing obstruction of view from tractor cab when the loader is detached.

摘要： Lifting and handling apparatus for use in agriculture, including a frame having ground engaging wheels adjacent one end and being connectable to a tractor or other prime mover at its other end. A load support cradle is connected to the frame and comprises a base section and a back section which is upstanding from a rear edge portion of the base section. The cradle is connected to the apparatus frame through a linkage system so as to be movable relative to the frame between a loading position in which it projects beyond the end of the frame adjacent the wheels, and a carrying position in which it is located above the frame. Drive means attached to the frame is operable to cause the aforementioned movement. The linkage system includes articulated links on both sides of the frame which interact between the frame and cradle so as to cause automatic lifting and tilting of the cradle during its movement from the loading position to the carrying position. The arrangement is such that in the loading position, the base section is substantially horizontal, and in the carrying position both the base and back sections slope relative to the horizontal and the junction between those sections is located between a vertical plane containing the wheel axle and the connection with the tractor or other prime mover.

摘要： An elongated finger-support member may be pivotally connected to the three-point hitch of a tractor or to the bed of a pickup truck. The support finger is T-shaped in cross section and tapers to a point and includes a rearwardly facing hook on the top convex surface which supports the baled hay along its axial center. A cross member is provided at the base of the finger for limiting penetration and supporting the baled hay when the finger is in a vertical position. When the support finger is carried on a truck a frame is bolted to the truck bed and includes a cage extending over the hydraulic power cylinder and the cage functions as a stop for limiting the pivotal movement of the finger and further protects the cylinder from the hay. The machine is positioned between the wheel wells of the truck such that the hay is sandwiched therebetween when being transported.
