摘要: A method for polycultivating clams with oysters in subtidal zones in an oyster growing-out bag at a low density, then placing the bags in the upper layer of the water by floating system including floating cage or floats. The clam could be Mya arenaria, and all other economic bivalve species that require burrowing in sand to ensure their growth.

摘要: An aquaculture system which has a pen, a control system, a water pumping mechanism coupled to the pen, and a set of buoyancy tanks coupled to the pen. The pen can be disposed in a body of water and at least temporarily stores aquatic animals during development. The control system receives electric power from a power source and provides electric power to the water pumping mechanism to provides a flow of water through the pen. A portion of the control system is in fluid communication with the set of buoyancy tanks and adjusts a volume of fluid in at least one buoyancy tank to move the pen from a first position in which the pen is partially submerged in the body of water to a second position in which the pen is fully submerged in the body of water.

摘要: A method for taking fish up from a body of water comprising the steps of providing a duct (14) having a lower open end below the water surface and an upper open end arranged at a floating working platform (5) above sea level; introducing water into the duct (14) from the upper open end to give a water stream from the upper open end of the duct to the lower open end of the duct; and allowing the fish to swim up in the duct against the water stream therein. The incoming water is directed to flow into the duct, and the fish is separated from the flowing by means of a grating (16) inclining upwards from the top end of the duct to a separation plate (17) arranged above the water level in the duct. A device for taking up fish, using the mentioned method is also described.
