The one or more cradles are configured to releaseably receive and hold a target object as the conveyor moves the target object from the first end to the second end of the butchering system. The scanning system comprising a one or more scanners.

摘要： A shoulder blade removal device of bone-in meat includes: a bottom holder which is configured to be in contact with a lower side of the bone-in meat such that the lower side of the bone-in meat is lifted upward and moved in a horizontal direction; a support member for bending the bone-in meat in cooperation with the bottom holder such that an end of the shoulder blade; and a chuck unit attached to a robot arm and gripping the tip part of the shoulder blade in cooperation with the robot arm. The chuck unit includes: a base member fixed to the robot arm; a grip member; and a lock member supported by the base member such that the lock member can be advanced or retracted toward or away from the lateral plate part, the lock member pinching the shoulder blade in cooperation with the lateral plate part.

摘要： A method is disclosed for mechanically deboning animal thighs for separating and collecting meat therefrom and an apparatus (1) for performing the method, including automated individual processing steps. The processing steps include: grasping a thigh bone of an animal thigh at a hip knuckle with a bone holder (17); cutting tissue near the hip knuckle; and engaging the thigh bone adjacent the bone holder with a meat stripper (165). The processing steps further include: moving the bone holder (17) and meat stripper (165) away from one another in a direction substantially coextensive with the longitudinal extent of the thigh bone; allowing the meat stripper (165) to pass over the knee knuckle; and collecting the meat separated from the bone. In particular the method includes and the apparatus (1) performs the process step of cutting tissue adjacent a knee knuckle of the thigh bone, prior to allowing the meat stripper (165) to pass over the knee knuckle. The apparatus (1) includes a plurality of processing stations (23, 25, 27, 29, 68, 77, 79, 81) for carrying out the individual steps, and the processing stations are arranged along a path of conveyance defined by a conveyor chain (35, 41, 43) moving through a predefined path (3, 5, 7, 9).

摘要： An apparatus and method for displaying the weight or cost of segments of an irregularly shaped item involves passing a sensor bar supported above a supporting surface over the item lying on the surface. A compact hand-held embodiment of the sensor bar enables the operator to move the sensor bar in various linear or non-linear motions over the item surface as the sensor bar moves laterally across the item surface while the sensor bar support posts remain in constant contact with the supporting surface. The sensor bar contains one or more sensors which generate signals corresponding to the height of the item as the sensor bar traverses the item. At the same time, a displacement detector arrangement generates signals corresponding to displacement of the sensor bar relative to the support surface. These signals are processed in a signal processor to determine the volume of an uncut segment of the item lying behind the sensor bar at successive positions. Each of these cumulative volume determinations may be continuously converted into numeric weight values based on the density factor for the particular type of item, whereby numeric weight and cost values (based on weight) are continuously displayed as the sensor bar is stroked over the item, thus enabling the operator to accommodate an on-looking consumer's specific requests as per the particular portion desired based on the physical appearance, weight, and cost of an item before the item is cut.

摘要： An apparatus for holding a gutted animal body having an empty body cavity that has an open end and a closed end has an elongated holder body having a front portion and a rear portion offset along a longitudinal axis of the holder body from the front portion. The portions are interconnected for relative axial displacement between an adjacent position and an axially extended position. A holder is provided on the front portion for engaging same in the closed end and another holder is provided on the rear portion for engaging same adjacent the open end when the holder of the front portion is engaged with the closed end. The system is operated such that, on engagement of the holder body in the body cavity with the portions in the adjacent position, the rear holder is engaged with the animal body adjacent the respective end, the front and rear portions are axially extended away from each other, and then the front holder is engaged with the respective cavity end.

The lower support plate has two support rails which are downwardly converging. 摘要： A method and apparatus for deboning chicken is disclosed which includes providing a novel chicken deboning horn B,B' which is rigidly mounted to a stabilized table top conveyor A so that a chicken carcass P may be rigidly supported and conveyed for carving of the meat away from the bones in a mass production system. The deboning horn preferably includes a smooth horn 40 having a contoured surface 42 inclined upwardly to a reduced upper portion 40b which enters an internal cavity 43 of the carcass P. Thus, inserted, the horn contour bears against and engages spaced portions in the cavity to hold it rigid and upright while enabling rotation of the carcass for selective carving. The horn contour accepts a wide range of carcass cavity sizes owing to its cone-shaped contour. Alternate chicken retaining supports 50, 62 support poultry portions 58, 72 separately for deboning. At least the upper run of conveyor A is stabilized by means of longitudinal guide rails 12 having guide slots 12a in which opposing ends 20a, 20b of the conveyor links 20 are effectively retained.
