Abstract:
A mount secures an object to sheets of material with one or more material thicknesses. The mount includes an inner plate and an outer plate. The outer plate includes a coupler for the object and one or more contact surfaces associated with one or more material thicknesses. The inner plate includes a retention structure to engage a contact surface of the outer plate. The outer plate may comprise a locking element to A mounting system includes a mount and a coupler integrated with the object to be secured to a sheet of material. The object may be a camera and the mount may be a camera mount.
Abstract:
A fastener assembly contains: a first disc with a plurality of tip teeth, an engaging cylinder, a second disc, a retaining element, and a third disc. The engaging cylinder includes a first engagement structure formed on an inner wall thereof, and the engaging cylinder is connected with the first disc to form a main fastener. The second disc includes a through hole defined on a central position thereof and plural recesses radially extending from a peripheral side of the through hole, wherein the engaging cylinder inserts through and retains with the through hole of the second disc so that the engaging cylinder engages with the second disc. The retaining element is cylindrical or columnar and includes a second engagement structure arranged on a first end thereof, wherein a second end of the retaining element is coupled with the third disc to form an auxiliary fastener.
Abstract:
An instant no-sew and removable fabric fastener is similar to a spring push-pin fabric fastener, and thus, the instant no-sew and removable fabric fastener includes a fastener socket and a fastener stud. However, the instant no-sew and removable fabric fastener is different than a standard spring push-pin fabric fastener by incorporating a rotational-type attachment mechanism and by being completely removable. The rotational-type attachment mechanism allows the fastener stud and the fastener socket to be deadlocked to each other. The fastener stud cannot be detached from the fastener socket even with a force until either the fastener socket or the fastener stud is rotated 90 degrees. After the fastener socket or the fastener is rotated 90 degrees, the fastener stud can be detached from the fastener socket. Additionally, this means the instant no-sew and removable fabric fastener does not permanently attach to fabric and thus, can be removed when desired.
Abstract:
A fastener for fastening a first element to a second element comprising: a first part; a second part fastenable to the first part via a first fastening mechanism; and a third part fastenable to the second part via a second fastening mechanism. The third part comprises at least one protruding member for inserting thereof to the second element for fastening the second element between the second and third parts. The first fastening mechanism is configured such that to open the fastening of the first part to the second part an external tool such as a key or a magnet should be applied.
Abstract:
A magnet fastener includes a cup, a magnet received in the cup and a carrier. The carrier receives and holds the cup while the resilient support includes at least one projection that engages the cup and provides a biasing force to prevent rattling or ticking of the cup on the carrier.
Abstract:
A clip can couple components together and includes a substantially u-shaped clip portion. The substantially u-shaped clip portion includes a first lateral portion, a second lateral portion, and a curved clip portion interconnecting the first and second lateral portions. The clip further includes a retention clip portion extending from the first lateral portion. Additionally, the clip includes an insertion clip portion extending from the retention clip portion. The insertion clip portion is obliquely angled relative to the retention clip portion.
Abstract:
The present invention is a garment that has two selectable neckline configurations, open and closed. The garment has a frontal closure. In the closed configuration, the frontal closure is closed to the neck. In the open configuration, the frontal closure is open over some interval below the neck. On each side of the frontal closure near the neckline, the garment has a respective proximal flap fastener. There is also a distal flap fastener that is further away from the neckline and from the closure than is the proximal flap fastener, and is usually below the proximal flap fastener. The garment near the intersection of the neckline and the frontal closure on either side can be folded down along a crease line, forming a flap on each side of the closure with the proximal and distal flap fasteners coupled.
Abstract:
A charm is provided including a body formed from a pliable material including an opening. A first member is at least partly inserted into the opening and is secured to the body. A cap is connected to the first member and is located external of the body. A method for securing such a cap to the charm is also provided.
