Abstract: Tissue is treated using a radiofrequency power supply connected to an applicator having a chamber filled with an electrically non-conductive gas surrounded by a thin dielectric wall. A radiofrequency voltage is applied at a level sufficient to ionize the gas into a plasma and to capacitively couple the ionized plasma with the tissue to deliver radiofrequency current to ablate or otherwise treat the tissue.

Abstract: The present invention provides a knife head assembly of a novel medical electrotome and a novel medical electrotome. The knife head assembly comprises a snare ring and a cutting knife, the cutting knife comprises a knife handle fixedly connected to a distal end of the snare ring and a knife head fixedly connected to a distal end of the knife handle; the surface of the knife handle is provided with two grooves that are arranged symmetrically and extend in a length direction of the knife handle, the knife handle is further provided with a through-hole penetrating through the knife handle, the two ends of the through-hole are in communication with the two grooves respectively, the distal end of the snare ring is inserted through the through-hole, and the parts of the snare ring on the two sides of the through-hole are limited in the grooves, thus the distal end of the snare ring is embedded and fixed in the knife handle. In the present invention, the snare ring and the cutting knife are mechanically fixed in an embedded manner, and the distal end of the snare ring is inserted and embedded in the knife handle of the cutting knife; the fixed connection structure is stable and reliable, effectively prevents the cutting knife from falling off from the distal end of the snare ring accidentally, and thereby improves the safety of surgical operations.

Abstract: The present technology is directed generally to devices, systems, and methods for capturing and cutting fibrous and trabeculated structures (such as synechiae) in vessel lumens. In one embodiment, the present technology includes an intraluminal tissue modifying system configured to capture the fibrous structures, put the fibrous structures in tension, and controllably cut through the fibrous structures without applying appreciable additional force to the vessel wall. The system may include an expandable capture device and a cutting device.

Abstract: A tissue cutting device has an outer sleeve with a distal window and an inner cutting sleeve which moves past the window to cut tissue. The inner cutting sleeve has a lumen which may have a larger proximal diameter than distal diameter. A perimeter of the window may comprise a dielectric material. A distal edge of the inner sleeve may be displaced inwardly.

Abstract: A multi-pole synchronous pulmonary artery radiofrequency ablation catheter includes an adjustment apparatus arranged on a control handle; a lead wire, a temperature sensing wire and a pull wire arranged in a cavity of a catheter body; and an annular ring connected to a flexible end of the catheter body. One end of the pull wire is connected to the flexible end and the other end of the pull wire is connected to the adjustment apparatus. The tension of the pull wire is adjusted through the adjustment apparatus to achieve radian control of the flexible end. A shape memory wire is arranged in the annular ring. The annular ring is provided with an electrode group with each electrode connected to the lead wire and temperature sensing wire; the lead wire and temperature sensing wire go through the catheter body and are electrically connected to the control handle.

Abstract: A multi-pole synchronous pulmonary artery radiofrequency ablation catheter may comprise a control handle, a catheter body and an annular ring. One end of the catheter body may be flexible, and the flexible end of the catheter body may be connected to the annular ring. The other end of the catheter body may be connected to the control handle. A shape memory wire may be arranged in the annular ring. One end of the shape memory wire may extend to an end of the annular ring and the other end of the shape memory wire may pass through a root of the annular ring and be fixed on the flexible end of the catheter body. The annular ring may be provided with an electrode group. The device possesses advantages of simple operation, short operation time and controllable precise ablation. The device can be used to treat pulmonary hypertension with pulmonary denervation.

Abstract: System and methods of an electrosurgical controller having multiple modes of operation that are configured for treatment of a specific targeted tissue type and the electrosurgical effect desired where the treatment and effect are provided by a single controller and an electrosurgical probe. The electrosurgical controller includes an integrated fluid control apparatus or pump where activation of the controller allows for selective energy delivery and corresponding fluid volume flow rates. The electrosurgical probe includes a fluid transport lumen and is in communication with the controller and the pump for operation of the probe in the various user selected modes with accompanying energy delivery and fluid control directed to the desired treatment and surgical effect.
