    摘要: An operating apparatus comprises an operating table with an operating support post, an operating table top and means for detachably fastening said operating table top to said operating support post, an anesthesis station and an examining station located at a distance from said operating support post and comprising an examining support post for receiving said operating table top. An overhead rail extends above said operating table and said examining station, and an overhead conveyor comprising means for carrying said operating table top is mounted on said overhead rail for movement therealong from a first position above said operating support post to a second position above said examining station. An overhead support carrying said anesthesis station is also mounted on said overhead rail for movement therealong. First coupling means are provided on said overhead conveyor and second coupling means are provided on said overhead support. The first coupling means engages the second coupling means in the first position of the overhead conveyor.

    摘要: A patient examination table, of the type used in an x-ray examination apparatus, has one end secured to a ceiling or floor stand via a tilt mechanism which permits the longitudinal axis of the table to be tilted upwardly or downwardly. The table can be tilted around an imaginary axis, the imaginary axis being movable roughly in the middle of the examination table. The tilt mechanism includes a driven element, which may be a part of the housing for the tilt mechanism, a first gear which is rigidly attached to the stand, a second gear which is rigidly attached to the examination table and a transmission linkage between the first and second gears which permits the second gear to be movable around the drive shaft of the first gear as the driven element is rotated. The second gear is rotated in an opposite direction to the direction of rotation of the driven element.

    摘要: The present invention provides medical imaging system comprising a guidance means for guiding a carriage along the longitudinal direction of a patient couch, and an imaging ring system with a carriage ring fixed to the carriage, a first rotatable ring carrying a first imaging unit, and a second rotatable ring carrying a second imaging unit, wherein the first and second rotatable rings are configured to be rotated independently from each other on the carriage ring. Preferably, the first imaging unit is a radiation source and the second imaging unit is a radiation detector. The invention further provides a preferably mounted patient positioning system for use in a medical intervention, comprising a robotic arm having six axes, and a patient couch wherein the couch is fixed to the robotic arm via a C-shaped bow.

    摘要: Procedure for positioning a small internal portion of a body at a predetermined point relative to an external source of shock waves or the like, for treatment of the positioned body portion, wherein a volume of the body including the body portion is imaged with penetrating radiation by each of two detectors respectively aligned with viewing axes intersecting at the predetermined point; the coordinates of the body portion on each of the two images thus produced are measured and corrected for imaging distortions; from these corrected coordinates, there is derived a set of three-dimensional spatial coordinates for the body portion, defining a displacement vector giving the magnitude and direction of body motion required to position the body portion at the predetermined point; and the body is displaced with a resultant motion of that magnitude and direction.
