摘要: A ceramic dental prosthesis including an implant for osseointegration in a jaw bone with a receiving opening and an abutment having a through-hole for receiving a bolt. The bolt is produced from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic and connects the abutment and the implant. The dental prosthesis system includes an anti-rotation feature formed by a first interlocking means arranged on a proximal end of the abutment and a second interlocking means arranged on a distal end of the implant. The first interlocking means engages in the second interlocking means, wherein the first and second interlocking means are arranged at a distance from one another such that the abutment can be tilted relative to the implant. The bolt runs in the through-hole of the abutment and the receiving opening. An interference fit is provided between the bolt and the receiving opening of the implant.

摘要: An inclined abutment for a cemented prosthesis in dental implantology. The abutment has a supragingival portion having a substantially truncated-cone shape with an elliptical base and having a longitudinal axis, an emergence surface coinciding with the elliptical base of the supragingival portion, and a transmucosal portion which has an elliptical base coinciding with the emergence surface and a longitudinal axis which ends at the apex with an antirotational connection for the insertion of the abutment in use. The volume of the supragingival portion remains essentially constant upon variation of the angle defined by the longitudinal axis of the supragingival portion and the longitudinal axis of the transmucosal portion, when the dimensions of the emergence surface and the height of the supragingival portion remain unchanged with respect to the longitudinal axis thereof.

摘要: Transfixed multiple dental prosthesis intended to be attached and fixed to a plurality of dental implants by several transfixing screws, each having a shank with a threaded portion intended to be received by screwing in a respective dental implant. Each transfixing screw is held captive in a respective bore formed in the transfixed multiple dental prosthesis and extending along a respective axial direction. Each transfixing screw is movable in rotation about the axial direction of the respective bore and is movable in translation along the axial direction of the respective bore between a retracted position and at least one screwing position. In the retracted position, the threading of the threaded portion of the transfixing screw does not protrude from the bore.

摘要: An implant comprising two internal anti-rotational features. One anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage a driving tool, while the other anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage an abutment. An implant abutment system is provided with an angled abutment adapted to mate with one of the anti-rotational features. A second, straight abutment is adapted to engage with the other anti-rotational feature. An abutment is provided with resilient fingers to interface with the implant and provide tactile and audible feedback indicating when the abutment is properly seated. An abutment screw extends through the abutment and engages the implant bore distal of the stem of the abutment. The abutment screw limits axial movement of the abutment relative to the implant. A driving tool comprising one of at least retention structure and visual alignment indicia is provided to facilitate screwing the implant into a patient's bone.
