摘要： A hot tub manifold that has been engineered with a plurality of “teeth-like” raised sections inside the inner diameter of the manifold. As the water travels through the manifold while the hot tub pumps are operating, it travels across the surface of the “raised” sections creating friction. That friction energy created is thus transferred to the water in the form of heat—which in turn raises the temperature of the water to the desired set level on the thermostat on the hot tub. Passing the water (generally at high speed) over the raised teeth creates “free” heat and lowers the amount of time and energy required by the hot tub's element heater to elevate the water to the given temperature.

摘要： In a spa or pool water temperature control system, the combination comprising, a water flow pump, having a motor, the pump operating to transfer heat generated by the pump motor to the water flowing through the pump, and to the spa or pool, a hi-limit temperature sensor located to detect the temperature of the pumped water, a temperature sensor operatively connected in controlling relation with the pump, in close proximity to the aforementioned hi-limit sensor to effect accurate sensing of the pumped water temperature, a control system that monitors said sensors and provides for manual pump activation as well as thermostatic control of the water temperature.

摘要： A water supply module for hydrotherapy, which includes a pump, a water inlet, a micro bubble water outlet, a pressurized water outlet, a relief valve, and a mixer. The water inlet is connected to the pump. The micro bubble water outlet and the pressurized water outlet are connected to an outlet of the pump. The relief valve is installed in between the outlet of the pump and the micro bubble water outlet, and the mixer is installed in between the water inlet and the relief valve. A drain valve is further connected off the bottom of the pump to drain out the residual water from the pump and the piping. The integrated water supply module provides space-saving advantage. Furthermore, by draining the residual water, the water supply module also improves SPA hygiene by reducing the risk of skin diseases and infections.

摘要： The present invention provides a control system for a bathing unit that comprises a heating module, a temperature sensing entity and a heating module controller. The heating module includes a body that defines a passage through which water can flow, that has an inner surface and an outer surface. The heating module further includes a heating device that is operative for heating the water that flows through the body. The temperature sensing entity is mounted to the outer surface of the body such that the temperature sensing entity is in thermally conductive communication with water flowing through the body. The heating module controller is operative for obtaining temperature information associated with the temperature sensing entity for detecting at least in part on the basis of the temperature information the sufficiency of water flow through the body.

The reflexology-based tactile therapy system may optionally be combined with hydrotherapy, by placing hydrotherapy jets among the pattern of protrusions.
