    摘要: In a nipple for a baby feeding container, a valve part is disclosed, comprising a unidirectional valve formed of a pliable material and oppositely oriented such that when attached to the container a normal fluid flow through the valve is into the container while a flow from the container to the outside is normally blocked, the valve is characterized by a plurality of normally closed non intersecting slits formed in a deformable wall which blocks the flow of liquid from the container to the outside unless when the slits become temporarily distorted by the natural mouth maneuverings of a baby. The valve is especially advantageous for use in baby feeding containers of inflatable type in which the liquid content is pressurized under the pressure exerted by the stretched elastomeric walls of the container.

The valve is configured to move to the open position when a pressure is applied to at least one of the nipple and bulb, so as to allow at least a portion of the liquid to flow from the bulb to the nipple.

    摘要: An animal nursing system for feeding orphaned baby animals is provided. The baby animals having a mother animal with a particular torso shape, The animal nursing system comprises an outer cover having an inner surface and an outer surface with the outer cover molded to the torso shape of the mother animal. A liquid holding main bladder is enclosed within the outer cover. At least one teat is mounted to the outer surface of the cover with the at least one teat in fluid communication with the main bladder. Upon the main bladder being filled with the liquid, the main bladder expands against the inner surface of the outer cover causing the outer cover to expand to a maximum expansion size and upon the liquid emptying from the main bladder, the main bladder contracts to a minimum contraction size. The outer cover maintains the torso shape of the mother animal at both the maximum and minimum sizes.

    摘要: An enteral pump system for delivering medical fluids unidirectionally includes a disposable fluid delivery set having a repeatable compression portion and an enteral feeding pump. The repeatable compression portion is helically coiled around a central axis to define a cylindrical shape. The compression portion is configured to pump a large volume of medical fluids per stroke. The compressing portion includes at least two adjacent tubing walls joined around the central axis for repeatable compression. The enteral feeding pump is configured to repeatedly and reliably compress the compression portion of the fluid delivery set along the central axis. In operation, the compression portion is repeatably compressed without distortion along the central axis by the enteral feeding pump to flow unidirectionally through the fluid delivery set.
