The device (100) also includes a needle cover (114) for selectively covering the injection needle (152), an adhesive (264) for selectively adhering the device to the patient, a release liner (500) for selectively covering a patient side of the adhesive (264), and a connecting means (112, 520, 512, 508, 524) for connecting the needle cover (114) and the release liner (500) such that removal of one of the needle cover (114) and the release liner (500) from the device (100) removes the other one of the needle cover (114) and the release liner (500).

    摘要： A portable intravenous bag positive pressure device includes a main body and an elastic positioning unit. The main body is to encircle the arm of a patient at an appropriate position with its adjustable positioning belt to secure the main body. An intravenous bag is placed into an accommodation space formed between a positioning seat of the main body and the elastic positioning unit. The elastic positioning unit applies positive pressure to the intravenous bag to continuously output an infusion liquid for infusion therapy. The device has a simple structure and is convenient for wearing and able to secure the intravenous bag firmly on the arm of the patient. It is beneficial for the patient to carry the intravenous bag and move around during infusion therapy.

    摘要： The present invention is an alternate IV line clasp for holding IV equipment securely to a patient's body without the use of tape. The clasp has a contoured recessed channel provided in an underside of a head of the clasp such that the channel receives and holds the IV equipment therein. The clasp has an adjustable, slightly elastic strap that extends over the head of the clasp by inserting through slits provided on either side of the head and then extending around the patient's body in the area of the body where the IV is installed. The two ends of the strap are provided, respectively, with hook and loop fasteners that allow the strap to be removably secured to itself and around the patient's body to hold the head and attached IV in place.

The securement device (100) includes a retainer (120) and at least one anchor pad (110). The retainer (120) has one or more curved ribs (280) into which at least a portion of the medical article is inserted. The retainer (120) includes a spine (145) that extends in a proximal direction from the retainer (120). The spine (145) includes a clip (147) having an abutment surface that can abut against a contact point or surface on the medical article. The abutment, in conjunction with a second abutment and/or a tapering shape of the retainer (120), inhibits longitudinal movement of the medical article in both proximal and distal directions.
