摘要: A fire extinguisher includes a first tank containing liquid foam concentrate and a second tank coupled therewith that contains compressed air. A first manifold located inside the first tank defines a cavity having at least one opening for receiving the compressed air and at least one opening for receiving the liquid foam concentrate. A second manifold is coupled with the second tank. A Schrader valve is coupled with the second manifold and is selectively actuatable to introduce compressed air into the second tank. A first conduit extends between the first tank and the second manifold of the second tank and provides fluid communication between the first and second tanks. A second conduit is in fluid communication with the first tank and a nozzle. The nozzle is selectively actuatable to discharge a foam formed when compressed air and foam concentrate solution pass through the cavity of the first manifold.

摘要: The present invention discloses a device for delivering gases for extinguishing fire in an enclosed space. The device includes a container for storing an extinguishing agent under pressure. The device includes an outer housing. The outer housing receives the container. The outer housing includes slits. The device includes locking pins for locking the container to the outer housing. The device is operatively thrown into the enclosed space under fire such that the outer housing retains its shape upon impact without fragmenting while preventing damage to the container. The container operates to dispense the extinguishing agent through the slits for extinguishing the fire.

摘要: A safety monitoring device is provided for fire extinguishing systems that includes a main body couplable to any type of head of fire extinguishing systems. The safety monitoring device is screwed on between the discharge valve or device, that incorporates the fluid outlet as well as electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, or manual activation and the thread of the valve. The safety monitoring device further includes a sensor connected to an electronic board and through it, to a control room, programmable automaton, or other control means of the extinguishing system, that detects whether the head is correctly screwed on and that, if it is not, sends a signal, through the electronic board to the control room of the installation. Preferably, the sensor is a push-button termination that protrudes at the lower part of the main body and when fully screwing on the device it contacts the surface of the valve.

摘要: Provided is an automatic fire extinguisher providing a simplified operation method for easily pulling out a safety pin while a handle is strongly grasped and allowing a spray hose to automatically aim a flame, and, furthermore, which is easily recognizable even from a distance when the safety pin is separated at normal times. The automatic fire extinguisher includes a main body vessel (55) in which a fire extinguishing agent is filled, a lower handle (2) coupled to a plug (4) disposed on an upper portion of the main body vessel (55), and an upper handle (1) coupled to the lower handle (2) through a first hinge shaft (19).

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure describe apparatus, methods and systems for monitoring the operational status of fire extinguishers through the utilization of optically sensed, color profile determinations of a pressure gauge positioned on the fire extinguisher as well as the utilization of vibrational, and location sensing devices. Advantageously, monitoring apparatus according to the present disclosure are networkable, and a number of their operational characteristics may be configured via the network and associated servers. Furthermore, monitoring apparatus according to the present disclosure may employ vibrational, acceleration, GPS, RFID, and ultrasonic sensors to detect movement, location, and obstructions. In sharp contrast to the prior art, apparatus, methods and systems according to the present disclosure operate with existing fire extinguishers and provide a convenient, cost effective, and highly functional upgrade path for deployed fire extinguishers.
