In one or more embodiments, the system can include one or more sensors operable to detect the explosion of the vapor cloud. The system can also include one or more igniters operable to ignite the vapor cloud at locations throughout, after the explosion of the vapor cloud is detected, to provide a discrete combustion zone at each location. Each combustion zone can form a discrete pressure wave, thereby reducing the overpressure caused by the explosion of the vapor cloud.

The UAV is preferably electrically powered and is stabilized in the air via a system of gyroscopes fashioned to work in concert with a series of electric motors capable of moving to counteract the opposing recoil force exhibited as water escapes the nozzle of the tether. A command and control unit on the ground supplies the UAV with electricity and water via the tether. The UAV is preferably stored within and launched from the command and control unit. Controls and sensor readings are communicated to a controller—be it autonomous or human—on the ground, preferably within or proximal to the command and control unit.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for measuring time-resolved volumetric throughflow processes, especially injection process in internal combustion engines, having a translational volume difference sensor having a piston disposed in a measuring compartment and a detection device detecting the excursion of the piston, the detection device being linked with an evaluation unit. According to the invention, a pressure sensor is mounted in the measuring compartment in addition to the detection device which detects the excursion of the piston. The signal of the detection device corresponding to the excursion of the piston can be better evaluated as the compressivity of the fluid in the measuring compartment can be taken into consideration for the calculation of the amount to be injected. The inventive device allows for a highly time-resolved representation of throughflow processes so that both overall amount and exact course of the throughflow can be represented and evaluated.
