    摘要: Described is a method for enabling a technician to open a door of a gaming machine without needing a physical key using a gaming system having a biometric controlled door lock. The method includes: enabling the technician to scan a barcode on the gaming machine using a camera on a mobile device; sending the image of the barcode via a network to a server; determining a gaming machine ID using the barcode decoding module, wherein the gaming machine ID is used by a gaming machine ID database to determine which gaming machine has been scanned; enabling a picture to be taken of a technician that has presented itself to the camera of the mobile device; transmitting the picture of the technician; using facial recognition software to identify the technician and authorize the technician's corresponding employee ID; receiving a mobile device identifier that is transmitted from the mobile device to the biometric lock component; enabling receipt of a technician's personal identification number that is transmitted from the mobile device to the biometric lock component; after the gaming machine receives an unlock signal, causing the door solenoid to unlock the door; wherein four credentials are passed to the biometric lock component to unlock the door solenoid, the four credentials including the employee ID, the mobile device identifier, the gaming machine ID, and the technician's personal identification number.

    摘要: In its preferred embodiment, the present invention relates to a game concept that combines different guessing techniques in a way that lets players choose the technique they wish to perform. Players are being given an opportunity to make their teammates guess several answers, and their total time for doing so is limited. Players therefore must make strategic choices regarding the technique they wish to use to make their teammates guess each answer. The game kit would typically include cards (FIG. 1) indicating an answer to be guessed (1), as well as a predetermined list of points (3) attributed to different guessing techniques (2). This card contents is intended to give the opportunity to a player to choose amongst the different techniques (2) in order to make his teammates guess the answer (1). If successful, he will obtain the predetermined number of points corresponding to the technique chosen (3) as listed on the card. In a typical round of play, a player would be provided with a determined amount of cards and would attempt to make his teammates guess the answers on these cards within a determined amount of time. For each answer to be guesses, the player would have the choice of the technique he wishes to perform. More difficult techniques for a given card give more points, but also usually take longer to perform, giving the player less time for the other cards to be performed. An important feature of the game is for the players to manage their time and choose their techniques wisely, in order to get the most points out of their cards before the time is up.

A right arm of the figurine is connected to a stepper motor and can be placed on top of the assembled unit. When the user depresses the button on the remote control the stepper motor makes one revolution and the hand portion of the arm makes contact with the pin/flag and ejects the pin/flag out of the assembled unit in order to signal rule infractions associated with a game. The device simply gives users the satisfaction of calling their own penalties, and or counts the number of actual penalties in the game.

    摘要: A system for determining the skill of a player eliminates the element of chance by comparing players who have the same initial position. In the case of cards, the initial position is the hand dealt to the player and in tile games, it is the initial distribution and arrangement of tiles. A player with a less than advantageous initial position may win a game over an opponent having a better initial position. It cannot conclusively be said whether this win is due to the good play of the winner or the bad play of the loser. However, it can clearly be said that the winning player has a higher skill level than the losing player.
