摘要： A puzzle comprises a plurality of puzzle pieces adapted to be assembled in a predetermined pattern on a puzzle tray to form a complete image. Each puzzle piece has a lenticular display providing first and second separately viewable lenticular images dependent upon a viewer's line of sight. The first lenticular image of each of the puzzle pieces forms a portion of the complete image. The second image of each of the puzzle pieces matches corresponding indicia provided on the puzzle tray. The puzzle tray and the puzzle pieces can be magnetic and the tray provided with a hanger or an easel to support the assembled puzzle in a display position.

摘要： A novel method of manufacturing collage puzzle pieces comprising the steps of: (a) providing a template in sheet form having a plurality of channels in the form of line perforations so as to define a plurality of puzzle pieces patterns, the channels being interrupted at selected locations so that at least one portion of each puzzle piece pattern is connected to at least one adjacent puzzle piece pattern; (b) mounting at least one selected graphic art object on an adhesive-coated substrate so as to form a workpiece; (c) assembling the workpiece and the template so that the template overlies the at least one graphic art object; (d) drawing a cutting blade along the full length of each channel defining a selected puzzle piece pattern so as to cut the underlying workpiece along lines conforming to the shape and location of the selected puzzle piece pattern, whereby to form a connected puzzle piece in the workpiece; (e) separating the template from the workpiece; (f) severing the connected puzzle piece from the workpiece; and (g) repeating steps (a) to (f) using the same template but workpieces that comprise different graphic arts objects, with each repetition of step (d) involving a different selected puzzle piece pattern, whereby a plurality of different puzzle pieces are formed. These puzzle pieces are combined to form a collage puzzle.

摘要： In a three-dimensional sheet puzzle, puzzle pieces fit together to form a shell held by magnetic attraction to a ferromagnetic base. The puzzle pieces are formed from sheet material which lies flat without strain. The shapes of the pieces are slightly distorted when applied to the spherical base. The puzzle is produced by first forming a flexible cover on the base, cutting the cover into pieces, flattening the resulting pieces, cutting pieces from the flexible flat sheet material conforming in shape to the flattened pieces cut from the spherical cover, fitting the pieces of flexible flat sheet material together on the base to recover the spherical base, depicting a puzzle design on the cover formed from the pieces of flexible flat sheet material, laying the pieces of flexible flat sheet material flat again, reproducing the flattened pieces on flexible flat sheet material and cutting out the reproduced pieces from the flat sheet material. In one embodiment, the puzzle is spherical and is another embodiment, the puzzle is curved along two surface dimensions with variation in the radii of curvature and specifically is in the form of a human head.

The frontal surface of the base defines plural recesses each for the reception of a correspondingly shaped magnetic piece.
