摘要： Disclosed is a spiritual talking board having a half-moon design and a plurality of indicia thereon for providing guidance on specific questions or issues. The board is adapted to be utilized in conjunction with a suspended pendulum, which is positioned over a compass rose origin of the half-moon shape. Moving radially outward from the origin is a plurality of numbers, month indicators, and finally letters of the alphabet. On a first half of the board there are shown symbols for positive, female and the sun, while a second half shows negative, male and the moon. Positioned orthogonally from one another are the answers no/yes/no and finally a symbol showing prosperity is provided. A pendulum is suspended over the compass rose by a user, whereafter a question is posed. Movement of the pendulum over the board surface is provides insight into the question and a possible answer thereto.

摘要： A hook and ring game apparatus and method includes a hook device having a mounting portion with a longitudinal axis substantially transverse to a surface. The hook device further including an arcuate portion extending from the mounting portion forming a sweep of about one-hundred and eighty degrees terminating in a cantilever beam having an acute angle to the surface. Further included is a ring assembly having a tether with a first end portion freely suspended from a selected position in an overhead support and a second end portion adjacent to a ring being operational to freely swing a pendulum type of movement relative to the overhead support. The ring and hook are operational to form a chance element to removably engage one another as the ring moves through the arc path potentially contacting with the hook, with either the ring removably engaging the hook or not engaging the hook.

摘要： An apparatus having a base with a plurality of magnetic members attached thereto, an arm connected to the base and extending upwardly above the base, and a rigid rod articulated to one end of the arm. The rigid rod has a magnet attached to the end of the rod opposite the arm. This magnet is interactive with the magnetic members of the base. The magnetic members are arranged in a circular pattern within the base. Each of the plurality of magnetic members extends upwardly in the base such that it has a common magnetic pole adjacent an upper surface of the base. A reverse polarity magnet is fastened within the base generally central of the circular pattern of the plurality of magnetic members. The arm has a ball joint that allows the rigid rod to be articulated to the arm. A magnet is affixed to the end of the dowel rod and has a polarity opposite the polarity of the plurality of magnetic members. Indicator pads are provided on the surface of the base adjacent to the plurality of magnetic members.

摘要： A game which includes a playing platform that is fixed to one end of a stiff spring, the other end of the spring is fixed to a playing piece receiving base. During the play of the game the contestants are directed by a chance mechanism, as by cards drawn from a pack, to deposit or remove playing pieces from the balanced platform. The platform has a plurality of playing piece receiving pockets which are interconnected at a point above the point of connection of the platform to the spring. The playing pieces are free to move from one pocket to another. The play of the game continues until the platform becomes unbalanced and the playing pieces are dumped from the platform onto the base.

摘要： A wrecking ball play feature for a pinball game includes a crane disposed upon the playfield of the pinball game. A wrecking ball is suspended from the crane by a cable so that it may be impacted by a game ball rolling upon the playfield. After being struck by the game ball, the wrecking ball swings in a pendulum-like fashion so as to strike targets near the crane, thus increasing the player's score. Alternatively, the wrecking ball may block a passage, the access of which by the game ball increases the player's score. The wrecking ball may be raised or lowered so that the pinball game features two or more modes of play. In one embodiment, the wrecking ball is raised and lowered by pivoting the crane arm about a pivot connection with the crane tower by way of a solenoid connected between the crane arm and the playfield. In another embodiment, the wrecking ball is raised by retracting the cable into the crane arm by way of tilting a crank to which the cable is connected.

摘要： This disclosure describes a balance game in which a container is supported by means of a semi-rigid strap, or strip, which is fastened to a small elongated article that is supported on a wire frame. The strap fits into a sloping slot or notch in the elongated article in such a way that there is a twisting or bending of the strap which tends to hold the article in a somewhat horizontal position, supported on a frame, in a groove in the bottom of the article. A container is supported by the strap. As weights are thrown into the container there is additional pull downward on the straps which causes the article to tilt and as it tilts the notch then permits it to slide off of the frame when the downward force, due to the weights in the container, is sufficiently great. A plurality of notches are provided so that the device can be made more or less sensitive to weights.

摘要： A balance member is formed of a plurality of substantially planar rigid trunk elements arranged in a vertical stack and alternately oriented orthogonally to each adjacent trunk element. Each planar trunk element further supports a pair of oppositely positioned substantially horizontal tier members. A chance device and a plurality of tokens are provided to complete the game apparatus. The game is played by operating the chance device at the initiation of each player's turn to designate a particular tier level upon the balance member which the player must place a token successfully without tipping the balance member during each turn. The balance member is supported by a base having a downwardly convex preferably spherical surface which allows the balance member to tip in response to imbalances of token distribution caused by player placement of tokens.
