    摘要： There is provided a microparticle sorting device that automatically optimizes a fluid stream.There is provided a microparticle sorting device that includes a voltage supply unit that supplies a driving voltage to a vibratory element that applies vibration to an orifice that produces a fluid stream, a charge unit that imparts charge to at least some droplets ejected from the orifice, deflecting plates, arranged opposing each other with the fluid stream S therebetween, that vary a travel direction of the droplets, and a first image sensor that acquires an image of the droplets passing between the deflecting plates. The microparticle sorting device is equipped with a controller that detects the droplets in the image, sets a standard band corresponding to a width of the droplets before imparting the charge, and controls the driving voltage of the voltage supply unit so as to further decrease a quantity of the droplets detected in areas within a designated number of pixels from the standard band from among the droplets after imparting the charge.

This separator has a separate voltage source connected to each of the electrodes forming a pair of electrodes in such a way that the one voltage source supplies a positive voltage against ground potential and the other voltage source supplies a negative voltage against ground potential. This causes the potential difference against ground to be equal to zero in the center of the separator.

    摘要： An electrostatic free-fall separator has a feeding arrangement located upstream of the separator for feeding of fine-particle material to be separated into the electrostatic free-fall separator, wherein the feeding arrangement is formed as a funnel with braking inserts of an electrically insulated material and has walls limiting at their lower edge a longitudinal outlet slot, wherein the funnel has an inlet which is formed by one wall portion which is parallel to the outlet slot and an opposite inclined guiding surface with a lower edge extending parallel to the one wall portion so as to limit simultaneously a passage leading to the outlet slot, and two substantially vertical electrodes are arranged below the passage at a distance from one another which is smaller than the width of the passage.
