    摘要: A device for dispensing a flowable substance, which includes a rigid open channel or basin-shaped first main part having a dispensing channel with a dispensing opening, and a basin- or channel-like second main part which is comprised of a resilient material and has a shape complementary to the first main part, wherein the first main part and the second main part are joined together to form a closed dispensing container, and wherein the second main part has an end wall that includes a closure part which is complementary to the dispensing channel of the first main part and which lies resiliently against the dispensing opening. Pressure applied to the upper part of the end wall causes it to pivot on pivot points causing the closure part to swing upwardly and open the dispensing opening to permit discharge of the substance.

    摘要: A particle sprayer includes a hollow body divided into an air compartment and a storage compartment for particulate material. The air compartment receives a piston which is manually slidable along the length of the air compartment to create air pressure within the air compartment. An air passageway provides air flow communication between the air compartment and the exterior of the sprayer. A discharge tube extends into the material in the storage compartment at one end and at the other end intersects the air passageway near a restriction in the air passageway defining a venturi opeing. Depression of the piston creates increased positive air flow exiting the sprayer the venturi opening and the resultant low pressure area draws material up the discharge tube from the storage compartment to be dispersed in a uniform amount into the air in the air passageway and ejected from the sprayer as a spray. Air flow control means lowers the pressure in the down pressure area during negative air flow into the sprayer as the piston raises in the air compartment.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an apparatus and a method for thoroughly mixing a suspension containing a fluid and solid matter constituents and spraying the thoroughly mixed suspension onto a surface. The apparatus includes a pressure and seal tight container enclosed on all sides for accommodating the suspension therein. The container has a top region and has a base region whereat the solid matter constituents tend to collect to form a sediment. A cylinder and a piston generate a charge of air under pressure which is conducted through a passage into the base region of the container to break up the sediment and thoroughly mix the solid matter constituents in the fluid as the air under pressure rises through the suspension to collect at the top region of the container where it imparts pressure to the suspension. A nozzle unit mounted on the container vents the container to permit the air under pressure to entrain the thoroughly mixed suspension to form a spray. With the invention, the suspension is always thoroughly mixed for each pumping operation and during the spraying operation so that a loss of function because of blockage of the spray system is prevented.
