Abstract:
An emitter (120) includes a flow path from a water intake path (221), which is for taking in irrigation liquid within a tube, to a recessed part (251). This flow path includes a recessed surface part (242) closed, without contact, by a film (300). A channel (243) that forms a reduced pressure flow path included in the above flow path is formed on the surface of the recessed surface part (242). If the film (300) is pressed by the pressure of the irrigation liquid in the tube (110) and adheres to the recessed surface part (242), the flow rate of the irrigation liquid inside the emitter (120) is controlled to an amount that can pass through the channel (243).
Abstract:
A paint circulating system back pressure regulator comprises a flow passage for paint, at least part of which is disposed between a fixed structure and a moveable surface which is moveable to vary the width of the flow passage so as to regulate a pressure of paint upstream of the regulator. The regulator is also provided with a chamber having an opening for communicating with a supply of a pressurised fluid for controlling operation of the regulator.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to fluid regulating valve, comprising a housing, a flow regulating member, and a gap controlling member. The housing has an inlet and a carrying part having a first outlet. The gap controlling member is located between the flow regulating member and the carrying part for regulating the gap between the carrying part and the flow regulating member. Fluid flows into the housing via the inlet, flows into the gap via the flow regulating member, drains off from the first outlet, and the fluid pressure of the fluid exerts pressure on the gap controlling member via the flow regulating member for controlling the flow rate of the fluid draining off the first outlet via the gap within a predetermined range by adjusting gap size using said gap controlling member. The fluid regulating valve according to the present invention is tolerant to damages in long-term usage.
Abstract:
A pressure-actuated member, for example a paint pressure controller or a coating agent valve, for influencing a mean coating agent pressure of a coating agent to be applied in a painting system, is disclosed. An exemplary pressure-actuated member may comprise a component, which is subjected directly to the coating agent during operation and is mobile and/or can be deformed to influence the pressure. Examplary components subjected to the coating agent may at least partially comprise a ceramic material in order to achieve a longer service life.
Abstract:
A controller for controlling the flow rate of compressed air to a spray paint gun as well as to a comparable tool which is optimally operative dependant upon receiving a specified flow rate of air includes a flow control valve which regulates the air flow rate therethrough based on a pressure differential signal received from an air flow meter. The pressure differential signal transmitted to the air flow controller is balanced against an opposing spring biased needle in the flow controller.
Abstract:
A recirculating paint supply system having a supply conduit, a return conduit and a push to connect fluid coupling assembly. The supply conduit supplies a liquid coating composition received from a supply to a spray nozzle. The return conduit returns the excess liquid coating composition supplied to the spray nozzle to the supply. The push to connect fluid coupling assembly receives an end portion of at least one of the supply conduit and the return conduit. The push to connect fluid coupling assembly includes a connector housing defining a bore having a first annular groove to retain an annular lock ring positioned within the groove. The lock ring is operable to grip and engage the outer periphery of the conduit to securably retain the conduit in the connector housing.

Abstract:
A recirculating paint supply system supplies single or multiple paint coatings to paint spray stations arranged in parallel or series relation, each station including manually operated flexible monoline and coaxial conduits to supply paint to an improved spray gun. In one aspect of the invention, the improved spray gun is comprised of a polymeric material to reduce the overall weight of the spray gun thereby reducing operating fatigue and ailments caused by the use of conventional spray guns. In another aspect, the improved spray gun includes larger air passages which provides for a greater volume of air to pass through the spray gun, thereby providing increased atomization of the liquid coating composition. Thus, the reduced weight, as well as the increased atomization, increases the overall finish quality of the object being painted.
