A torpedo 15 in cylinder 7 is rotatable through shaft 16 to mix plastic material such as polythene and drive means 17 and a plunger 8 controlled by hydraulic piston/cylinder unit 9, 10 is slidable over the shaft to inject the polythene through nozzle 12 into mould 14. A thrust-bearing and seal arrangement 21 is attached to the cylinder 10 to prevent longitudinal movement of the shaft and prevent leakage of fluid from cylinder 10. Heat may be supplied to the interior of the cylinder 7, and Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) depict alternative forms for the flights and grooves on the torpedo.

    摘要: Agitating pins employed in a kneading apparatus extend in the horizontal direction and rotate around a rotation axis of an agitator extending in the horizontal direction, so that the kneading apparatus can repeat a process in which a material is kneaded and beaten against an inner wall surface of a kneading vessel and the material adhering to the inner wall surface of the kneading vessel, especially on the upper side from the rotation axis of the agitator, falls under its own weight through the clearance between the agitating pins. As a result, the material hardly adheres to the inner wall surface of the kneading vessel, so that the kneading efficiency can be enhanced.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for injection molding parts, which comprises a mixture of at least one plastic material and at least one additive in the form of fibrous or powdered fillers or reinforcement materials. The method comprises the following steps: a) plasticizing a mixture of the plastic material with the fillers or reinforcement materials, in a reciprocating screw plasticizing and injection unit, by rotating a plasticizing and injection screw, which is disposed in a preplasticizing cylinder so that it can move rotationally and axially; b) expelling the plasticized mixture of plastic material and filler or reinforcement material by the axial movement of the plasticizing and injection screw, from the reciprocating screw plasticizing and injection unit, into a mixing element; c) homogenizing the mixture of plastic material and filler or reinforcement materials in the mixing element, by a mixer, which is disposed movably in the mixing element and which is driven by a mechanical drive; and d) expelling the homogenized mixture of plastic material and filler or reinforcement materials from the mixing element into an injection molding tool. The combination of a reciprocating screw unit and a “dynamic mixer” achieves a gentle processing especially of long-fiber additives.
