Abstract:
An injection molding machine has a first servo amplifier configured to operate with a first voltage, a second servo amplifier configured to operate with a second voltage, and a transformer which has a primary side terminal and a secondary side terminal and transforms voltages mutually in a predetermined voltage ratio. A main power supply is connected to a primary side terminal or a secondary side terminal of the transformer, depending on whether a voltage of the main power supply supplied to the injection molding machine is equal to the first voltage or the second voltage, respectively. The first or the second servo amplifier is connected to a terminal of the transformer on the side where the main power supply is not connected.
Abstract:
An injection molding machine including an ejector unit configured to eject a molding product from a mold, wherein the ejector unit includes a slide base freely movable relative to a toggle support disposed at a platen supporting the mold, a toggle mechanism configured to connect the toggle support and the slide base, disposed between the toggle support and the slide base, a driving source configured to operate the toggle mechanism in such a way that a distance between the toggle support and the slide base is changed, and an ejection member movable in conjunction with the slide base.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for demolding parts, comprising a skid (1) comprising a slide (8) for housing a shaping insert (2) for molding a negative (10) of the part to be molded, said slide (8) being obliquely associated with a pushrod (9) which can move said slide (8) to an ejection position for ejecting a part to be molded, and characterized in that said pushrod (9) comprises at the upper end thereof a rack (21) meshing with another rack (22) of said slide (8), the movement of said pushrod (9) being transferred to said slide (8) through said racks (21, 22).The invention allows reducing the volume with respect to the device described in the aforementioned document, such that it does not take up too much space when being assembled inside the shape of the mold.

Abstract:
An injection molding machine includes various devices for reducing injection cycle time. A molded article detection apparatus and method are disclosed. The detection system and method determines if an article, or a portion thereof, remains on a machine core pin after the article ejection cycle has occurred, and, if so, communicates this condition to both the machine controller and the take-out controller. This prevents the machine from starting a new cycle and damaging the injection mold. Also, by communicating the extraction status to both the take-out controller and machine controller, if no articles or portions remain, injection cycle time is reduced. Additionally, a variable vacuum pressure apparatus and method are described. The apparatus and method allows early removal of molded articles from the molds into a take-out plate while the parts are still warm.
Abstract:
An ejector plate movement detector is provided that can be mounted, without complicatedly machining a mold tool and occupying an installation place, and can detect movement of an ejector plate, with damages of parts suppressed to a necessary minimum. The detector 21A comprises a rod-like pin 22; a pressure detector 23 integrally attached on one end of the pin 22 and mounted on the ejector plate 12, for detecting the pressure applied via the pin 22 when the ejector plate 12 is moved forward and backward; a biasing member 24 for always biasing the ejector plate 12 to its original position with respect to the pin 22; and a holder 25 having one end fixedly mounted to the receiving plate 6, for housing said biasing means 24 and movably holding the pin against the biasing means 24. Whether or not the ejector plate 12 is normally moved is checked by monitoring waveforms of output values from the pressure sensor 27 before and after the movement of the ejector plate 12 at the ejection of a molded piece.
