摘要: A system which stacks and folds waterproof tube film in a zigzag configuration in a film receiving box and then inserts the tube film in the film receiving box into an interior of a cylindrical bag. The system also includes a film unwinding means, which is provided with guide rollers for guiding tube film pulled from bobbin and tension controlling rollers. The film is preferably sealed to the interior of the cylindrical bag to form a waterproof bag.

摘要: A method includes the steps of providing a tubing having an inner annular layer comprising a crosslinked polymeric material, and an outer annular layer comprising a non-crosslinked polymeric material, or a material that is crosslinked to a lesser extent than the material of the inner layer; longitudinally slitting the tubing to form a folded film; and reverse centerfolding the folded film to provide a folded film having a lateral slit edge, and a lateral folded edge opposite said lateral slit edge, such that the inner annular layer becomes an outer layer, and the outer annular layer becomes an inner layer. A bag can be made from the reverse centerfolded film, and an article such as food can be packaged in the bag.

摘要: A liquid container comprises a flexible bag-shaped container body 1 which is provided with two flat portions 3(3a,3b) as front and back walls and two gusset portions 4(4a,4b) as side walls which are folded inwardly, and a pipe-shaped delivery unit 2 which is provided with a mouth portion 11 at an upper end thereof to be projected out of an upper end portion of the container body, and a flange portion 12 below the mouth portion to be held at a joining portion 5 of the upper end portion of the container body, wherein each gusset portion 4 has a width approximately equal to that of the flat portion 3, inward end portions 15(15a,15b) of the two gusset portions being interposed between the flange portion 12 and the flat portion 3 at the joining portion 5. When the liquid container is manufactured, it is preferable that films for the gusset portions are temporarily bonded to a film for the flat portion before the positioning of the delivery unit.

摘要: In a process for manufacturing sacks of sheet material, flat tubes are fed one by one in the direction perpendicular to the discharging direction thereof, while the tubes are overlapped or shingled as offset by a predetermined distance. The tubes are wound one by one on a reel core with the help of a tape, which is connected at one end thereof to the reel core and continuously supplied with the rotation of the reel core. The tubes are secured on the reel core outside pressure supplied by the tape to form a tube wound reel having a desired diameter. After a certain time period and immediately before the susequent bottom-closing process, the tubes are unwound from the reel core by pulling the tape to rotate the reel. The overlapped tubes are then separated from each other and supplied one by one to a bottom-closing station.

摘要: In a composite bag comprising an outer bag and an inner bag which is secured thereto by adhesive, the outer bag is provided with a cross-bottom folded closure at least at one end where no filling valve is provided. Adjacent said one end of the outer bag, the inner bag is closed by a weld seam and folded back on itself and secured in position so that, in a flattened condition of the composite bag when the cross-bottom folded closure lies snug against the bag body, the inner bag extends no further than the centre line of the cross-bottom closure.

摘要: A container is disclosed comprising a first sidewall having a first layer and a second layer. The second layer overlaps a portion of the first layer to define an overlap area. A sealing flange extends from the first layer outward of the overlap area. A second sidewall is connected to the first sidewall along the sealing flange to define an inner chamber therebetween. The second sidewall and the sealing flange define a first layered structure having a first number of layers along the sealing flange. The overlap area and the second sidewall define a second layered structure having a second number of layers. The second number of layers is greater than the first number of layers. The container is sealed by positioning peripheral edges of the first and second sidewalls into registration so that the overlap area is substantially centrally disposed over the second sidewall and applying sealing energy to the first number of layers to define a peripheral seam.

摘要: A first embodiment of the envelope comprises an outer envelope forming an interior, and a packing material secured in the interior of the outer envelope and forming a pocket for receiving an article. This packing material is comprised of a flexible and expandable packing material forming a multitude of slits arranged to allow the packing material to be pulled into a three-dimensional shape in which the packing material cushions and protects the article inside the packing material. A second embodiment of the envelope of this invention comprises a plurality of sections connected together to form an interior for holding an article; and each of these sections is comprised of a flexible and expandable paper material forming a multitude of slits to allow the sections to be pulled into three dimensional shapes in which those sections cushion and protect the article in the interior of the envelope. This envelope also includes a gripping panel connected to the expandable sections of the envelope to facilitate pulling those sections into their expanded shapes.
