    摘要: An industrial robot has a servo system allowing higher-speed robot operation than in conventional robots. The servo system includes a movable arm or arms pivotable about a pivot axis or axes and/or movable along an axis or axes. The servo system includes at least one movable arm pivotal about a vertical axis and associated with a servo motor for angular displacement within a substantially horizontal plane. A servo motor for driving the horizontally pivotable movable arm is mounted on a base frame of the robot. By mounting the servo motor on the base frame, the load on the movable arm can be reduced significantly so as to allow the movable arm to be operated at higher speeds. The servo system includes a controller adapted to control robot operation. The controller is programmed to actuate the working end of the robot arm along a predetermined non-linear trace, in which an acceleration zone is defined inthe vicinity of an initial position of the working end and a deceleration zone is defined in the vicinity of the predetermined working position and a relatively longer constant speed zone is defined between the acceleration zone and the deceleration zone.

    摘要: Electroerosion recording materials are provided with a surface lubricant film of particulate lubricating nonconductive graphite fluoride and optional conductive materials in a polymeric binder. The lubricating agents reduce stylus scratching of the conductive layer during electroerosion printing, improve contrast, provide a beneficial coating on the writing electrode or stylus and improve the handling and writing characteristics of the recording material. The lubricating agents/polymer films are especially useful (1) where the substrate of the recording material is light transmissive and, after the electroerosion process, the resulting product is suitable for direct-negative applications and (2) where direct offset masters are produced by removal of noneroded lubricant film.

    摘要: To reduce adherence of particles to electrodes and improve the contrast of recording paper, particles of oversized pigments are including in a contrast lacquer or ink layer which have a diameter such that the oversized particles or grains extend out from the lacquer or contrast layer, that is, have a diameter which is greater than the thickness of the ink layer. Suitable particles are carbon black, and calcium carbonate, particularly if darkly colored, present in about 3%-by weight-of the wet content of the lacquer layer which, for example, is a layer of nitrocellulose with finely grained carbon black pigment therein, of a thickness in the order of 1 to 10 .mu.m; the additional oversized pigment granules will have a thickness in the order of about 2 to 20 .mu.m, preferably, on the average, about 5 .mu.m and embedded in lacquer layer of about 2 .mu.m thickness, over which a vapor deposited layer of aluminum of between 0.01 and 0.1 .mu.m is applied. A typical substrate is paper.

    摘要: A method for performing electric discharge recording on the recording surface of an electric discharge recording material using a discharge recording stylus comprises interposing an electrically anisotropic non-recording layer between the recording surface and the discharge recording stylus. The non-recording layer is prepared by dispersing a metal powder in a resin matrix and has a surface resistance of at least 10.sup.8 ohms and a volume resistance of not more than 10.sup.4 ohms-cm. Electric discharge recording is performed through the non-recording layer. A composite discharge recording material comprises (a) an electric discharge-breakable semiconductive resin layer having a surface resistance of 10.sup.5 to 10.sup.16 ohms and a volume resistance of 10.sup.3 to 10.sup.14 ohms-cm, (b) a metal-containing resin layer having a surface resistance of at least 10.sup.8 ohms and a volume resistance of not more than 10.sup.4 ohms-cm, which is laminated on one surface of the semiconductive resin layer (a) and is prepared by dispersing a metal powder in a resin matrix and (c) a conductive layer laminated on the other surface of the semiconductive resin layer (a) and having a surface resistance of not more than 10.sup.4 ohms and a volume resistance of not than 10.sup.2 ohms-cm.
