Abstract:
A marker board system having a dark colored, low hardness, low surface energy solid silicone sheet to wet to a vertically oriented high surface energy substrate on a smooth, flat back-side of the solid silicone sheet. A front-side of the solid silicone sheet is able to be written upon by brightly colored marker ink. The brightly colored marker ink is able to be easily erased from the front-side of the solid silicone sheet after being written upon the front-side of the solid silicone sheet. The front-side is roughened to diminish beading of the brightly colored marker ink when written on the front-side.
Abstract:
An interactive high-clarity glass electronic whiteboard having a writing board body; the writing board body includes a base board and an ultra-thin tempered glass. The front of the base board attaches with the ultra-thin tempered glass. The attaching surface of the ultra-thin tempered glass attaching the base board is adhered with a non-transparent interlayer. A non-transparent coating is adhered to an attaching surface of the ultra- thin tempered glass attaching the base board A writing surface of the ultra-thin tempered glass is a matte surface with anti-glare treatment.
Abstract:
An improved interactive learning board cover is provided. The improved interactive learning board cover may provide protection to the learning board, whereby the cover may stretch over the entire surface of a whiteboard and may be secured at each of the four corners of the board with a sewn pocket thereby allowing securement of the board without the need for additional handles, straps and/or padding.
Abstract:
An erasable board cover system is provided to enable the selective covering and concealment of the writing surface of the erasable board. The cover system can include a retractable cover that is adapted to slidably cover the erasable board using edge mounted tracks and reels and cords. In other embodiments the cover is a retrofit item that can be disposed over a erasable board in a stationary, static manner, or can be retractably mounted over the erasable board. A manual knob or an electric motor can control the deployment and/or retraction of the erasable board cover in the retractable embodiment. A locking mechanism is provided and configured to secure and prevent movement of, or the removal of, the cover when in a locked position.
Abstract:
In one embodiment of the invention, photo-chromic toys are disclosed. A photo-chromic toy includes a photo-chromic material such as a photo-chromic ink, paint, plastic, or dye. The photo-chromic material may be supplied in a material of the toy or applied to a surface of the toy at the factory. The photo-chromic material may be activated in various ways with various light activating devices that can generate the activating light with appropriate wavelengths.
Abstract:
The invention provides a modular board arrangement that may be easily transported and assembled. The board arrangement comprises a plurality of boards and individual frame members that can be assembled in a variety of ways to provide a desired arrangement. The board arrangement may additionally comprise side frame members and/or a tray. The board arrangement is expandable to a desired length by adjacently adding additional board and frame units. Multiple board and frame units may be connected to one another by a transition piece. A connector may be provided for attaching an object such as the tray to the board arrangement. A removable faceplate may also be provided.
Abstract:
A mobile marker board unit has a wheeled base which mounts a pair of upright and vertically enlarged marker boards. The marker boards, as they project upwardly, are rearwardly sloped to define a triangular storage space between the marker boards. This storage space is accessible from at least one end of the unit, and is preferably provided with structure which permits storage therein. A slidable tray arrangement is mounted adjacent the lower edge of each marker board and can be moved between open and closed positions. Each tray arrangement includes an outer tray disposed directly adjacent the lower edge of the marker board and positioned for support of articles thereon. This outer tray is fixedly joined to an enlarged inner tray which is normally stored in a closed position between the marker boards, with the tray assembly being slidable into an outer position wherein the inner tray projects outwardly from the marker board adjacent the lower edge thereof.
Abstract:
A message board comprising a bulletin board fixedly mounted on a backing of heavy cardboard or other substrate, and an optional dry-erase laminate fixedly mounted onto the bulletin board. A frame is fixedly secured to the edges of the bulletin board and backing. The frame is provided with a front channel and a rear channel, each adapted to receive and firmly retain a portion of a generally "C"-shaped grip. The grip may be integrally formed with various accessories desired to be attached to the frame of the message board.
Abstract:
Apparatus for wall mounting a presentation board comprises a wall mounted support bracket, a hook shaped mounting member for detachably and pivotably engaging the support bracket, and an angled support member connecting the mounting member to the presentation board such that the board is supportable in an inclined position with respect to the mounting wall. Further apparatus is provided for mounting a bound presentation pad to the board in an orientation such that the unbound ends of a pad sheet are releasably retained against unintended displacement but successive sheets may be exposed by releasing covering sheets and allowing the released sheets to hang down from the bound ends.
Abstract:
An upright wall supported receptacle having a compound back wall including a chalkboard, an oppositely disposed open front side, a projector screen supported on the receptacle and being selectively movable into and out of confronting juxtaposition relative to the chalkboard, and wing extensions comprising tack boards pivotally connected on the receptacle for swinging movement toward one another to close the open side of the receptacle.
