    摘要: A device configured to remove a hubcap from a wheel of a vehicle without using torque or leverage applied against a component that is not the hubcap is disclosed. The device is configured to remove the hubcap by applying a force to the hubcap along a first axis that is perpendicular to the hubcap. The device comprises a shaft and a slide hammer. The shaft includes a first end and a second end. The first end includes a hook having a degree of bend greater than 90 degrees. The slide hammer is coupled to the shaft between the first end and the second end. A first force acting on the slide hammer along a first axis perpendicular to the hubcap in a first direction away from the wheel causes the hook to apply a second force to the hubcap along the first axis in the first direction.

    摘要: A sheet-affixing device for affixing a pressure sensitive adhesive-sheet onto a wheel is provided. The sheet-affixing device comprises an absorption plate member, an alignment shaft member, and a pressing member. The absorption plate member is formed in a ring-shape. The exterior diameter of the absorption plate member is smaller than the diameter of a rim. On the bottom surface of the absorption plate member there are provided a plurality of suction perforations. The alignment shaft member is fitted into the hub so that the center of the absorption plate member and the center of the wheel are aligned. The pressing member is used for pressing a peripheral part of the pressure sensitive adhesive-sheet against the rim so that the peripheral part is affixed to the rim. Further, the pressing member is movable relative to the absorption plate member along the axial direction of the ring-shaped absorption plate member.

    摘要: An improved process for permanently attaching an overlay to a wheel disc, wherein the overlay is aligned and spaced apart from the wheel disc. A mold is created by a combination of the overlay, wheel disc and localized nests that engage at predetermined times during foam filling to close the mold. The mold is adequately sealed so that there is no foam leakage as the foam expands to fill the mold and, therefore, no final trimming of excess foam is required. The improved process is capable of accommodating a wheel having turbine openings therein.

    摘要: A tool for removing seals from wheel hubs is shown and described. The tool comprises a handle or lever portion having an upstanding hook portion and a cross member in connection with the hook portion. The hook portion is perpendicular to the plane of the cross member and the bottom of the hook portion is about flush with the front edge of the cross member. The front of the tool is placed in the bore of the wheel hub and flush against the seal. The tapered ends of the cross member will be aligned against the seal and will hold the hook portion in place when the lever is pivoted.
