Abstract:
A heat shield for a wheel is disclosed. A torque bar may be used to mount the heat shield to the wheel, and includes a connector in the form of a stem and a head. A stiffening or reinforcement plate is mounted to the heat shield with a torque bar mounting aperture extending through the reinforcement plate being disposed about at least part of a torque bar mounting aperture extending through the heat shield. The torque bar mounting aperture of the reinforcement plate is disposed/configured such that the head of the torque bar may be disposed in overlying relation to portions of an outer surface of the heat shield that are on opposite sides of the torque bar mounting aperture through the heat shield that are exposed by the torque bar mounting aperture through the reinforcement plate.
Abstract:
A system for displaying a wheel that includes the shelf unit that can be mounted on the wall. The shelf unit includes a shelf upon which an inner perimeter of the wheel may be supported. A retainer clip is inserted into the shelf unit and prevents the wheel from sliding off of the shelf.

Abstract:
An automobile hub protective cover comprises a support ring and a shielding body. The support ring is made of a metal wire or strip, the shielding body is made of cloth or soft plastic sheet or leather. The support ring is wrapped by the shielding body after being folded, and the support ring and the shielding body are integrally connected by means of a sewing thread or welding, or a connecting body is provided, the connecting body being made of cloth or leather or soft plastic, and the connecting body integrally connecting the support ring and the shielding body by means of a sewing thread or welding.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an equipment for a bicycle wheel. The equipment comprises at least one profiled wing-shaped projection adapted to be secured to the inner surface of the rim of the wheel.
Abstract:
The hubcap for vehicle wheels comprises a disk (1), a ring (2) to secure the hubcap to said rim of the vehicle wheel and a plurality of securing modules (3) for securing the ring (2) to said disk (1), each of said securing modules (3) comprising at least a first securing element (5) which is coupled to said ring (2); characterized in that each securing module (3) also comprises a positioner (8), such that the ring (2) is retained between the first securing element (5) and the positioner (8) in its position of use, said first securing element (5) and said positioner (8) defining a lodging for said ring (2) before placing it in its position of use.It enables simpler placement of the ring, which can be carried out by applying pressure solely in the axial direction.
Abstract:
A tire rim cover is provided to serve as a protective barrier for a tire rim against cleansing material used for enhancing the appearance of a wheel disposed around the tire rim. The tire rim cover includes a circular body portion having a front side, a rear side, and an outer edge. The front side includes a handle thereon that can be grasped by a user so as to manually press the rear side of the body portion against an inner edge of the wheel to enclose the tire rim. The outer edge is composed from flexible material so as to allow the body portion to be twisted into a figure “8” shape and folded in half afterwards to form a compact configuration. A pocket disposed on the rear side can receive the folded body portion therein to maintain the compact configuration for easy storage.
Abstract:
A wheel masking system for more efficiently and effectively masking vehicle wheels for painting and touch-ups. The wheel masking system generally includes a tire mask and rim shield which may be simultaneously or interchangeably utilized to mask portions of a wheel during paint or touch-up operations. The tire mask includes a disc member which fits the contour of the wheel's side wall and tapers to nest at the tire bead on the inside diameter to protect portions of the wheel and side wall from paint. The rim shield fits over the lug nuts of the wheel to mask the rim of the wheel from paint.
Abstract:
A deep-lip wheel cover apparatus that attaches with a steel wheel includes a wheel cover, a center cap, and a hub ring. The hub ring is centrally connected with the steel wheel so that the wheel cover and the center cap can be attached to the hub ring. The wheel cover also attaches with the steel wheel through a plurality of fastening systems, where the plurality of fastening system provide additional connection points in between the wheel cover and the steel wheel. When the wheel cover and the center cap are installed within the steel wheel, the wheel cover and the center cap completely cover the steel wheel creating a deep-lip appearance within the steel wheel.
Abstract:
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for streamlining wheels. In one implementation, a wheel streamlining device includes a cover assembly having a flexible connection extending around a periphery of a ring configured to contact a tapered portion of a wheel. A hook is configured to removably engage the cover assembly, and a bale is configured to releasably engage an inner surface of an opening in a face of the wheel. A springy portion extends between the bale and the hook and is configured to apply a tension force between the ring and the tapered portion of the wheel.
