    Abstract: A closing system is provided which includes a frame adapted to be mounted on a vehicle supply system, the frame being shaped as a spherical segment and extending between a first circular section and a second circular section. The frame has a plurality of first and second guides, arranged on a radially outer surface. The closing system has a plurality of curved panels, each curved panel being shaped as a spherical cap portion and constrained at a first end and a second end thereof to slide, respectively, along a first guide and a second guide between a first position, in which the curved panels jointly define an opening that allows access to the vehicle supply system, and a second position, in which the curved panels prevent access to the supply system. Control means control movement of the curved panels between the first and second positions.

    Abstract: A fuel cap capable of preventing a reduction in breathability in a housing due to a moistened adsorbent and appropriately discharging fuel vapor includes a housing including an inner space through which vapor generated in a fuel tank flows upward from below. A granular adsorbent is disposed in the inner space of the housing. A lower air-permeable layer is disposed below the adsorbent, and an upper air-permeable layer is disposed above the adsorbent. A lower porous member is disposed between the adsorbent and the lower air-permeable layer. The lower air-permeable layer, the lower porous member, and the upper air-permeable layer respectively have a porous structure. A density of the lower porous member is lower than a density of the lower air-permeable layer and a density of the upper air-permeable layer.

    Abstract: A cap for closing a fill tube of a fluid container that includes fewer part and requires just a quarter turn between opened and closed positions. The cap has a lower plate for engagement with a free end of a fill tube and an upper plate that connects to a cover. The upper and lower plates have cooperating pawl and detent portions that form a ratchet member. Rotation of the cap by approximately a quarter turn moves the cap form an opened position to a closed position against the neck of a filler tube.

The tank closure includes a tank filler neck which forms an access to a fuel tank, and a tank cap which, upon rotating, forms a sealing closure of the tank filler neck. Furthermore, the tank system includes a ventilation channel. A controllable actuating element is movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, a connection is opened to the ventilation channel, and the rotation of the tank cap is released. In the closed position, the connection to the ventilation channel is closed, and the rotation of the tank cap is blocked.
